Sorry Laura; do not give your patronage to this salon!

Laura was accommodating two years when I got a free hair cut because I was donating my hair to Locks of Love. Anyone will cut it for a price but finding a salon that gets the whole nonprofit thing is difficult--even though I don't want a style but a flat cut across. Easy peasy. Their salon is tiny, say 10 feet square--15 if I'm being generous.

HOWEVER, I called today to do another donation (why not the hair grows anyway) and Johnny flat out denied that they did that. He proceeded to be condescending and rude, telling me that Locks of Love sells hair to the cancer kids and that I need to do more research! They sell hair it is true (any donations under 10 inches and damaged hair donations are sold to offset costs) but wigs are free to the kids or sliding scale (but most families with cancer kids don't have the incomes to pay = free). I've been to their facility and donated hair five times. Johnny is doing a complete disservice to a valuable nonprofit because he likes to hear himself talk on topics he clearly knows nothing about! If he acts this way about charity imagine what he does to clients' wishes!

Lying about how a nonprofit does business and discouraging donations is like stealing from cancer kids; deplorable. Johnny should be ashamed.
