i.e., A local favI had one visit with this dentist and paid in full at time of service. In fact, though I have excellent dental insurance he does not accept insurance. I was told that unless I paid in full at time of service I would not be seen. I accepted that condition and did in fact pay IN FULL at time of service, a charge of over $200. At the time I had already decided not to have him perform the procedure. I told him that his fee was excessive and that I could fly home to Hawaii, have the procedure performed by my regular dental team, twice, for the amount he was charging. Two months later I received a bill from him for $34.00 without any explanation. I phoned the office and asked why I received a bill when I had paid in full. His office receptionist would not tell me. I asked for an itemized billing statement. I have not received one. I left a phone message asking for the reason for the bill. I was given a return phone message that did only stated I was to call.
