For the life of me I cannot understand how this place has 4.3 Stars. We needed a storage unit for a couple of months and decided on this location because it was convenient to us.
The first problem was that the company placed their own lock on the unit without informing us that they were going to do that, and we had informed them that we would be moving in the next evening, so when we came to unload our U-Haul we found the unit sealed to us and had to call all the way up to the regional offices to have them contact down the line to have someone come unlock it for us.
Second, we had our storage unit broken into (and so did multiple other people at the same time). This is not entirely the fault of the company, but they did not contact me in any way until 4-5 days after the fact even though they knew about it. They claimed to have tried to call (no missed calls, no voicemails left) and they said an email was sent (funny, their bills come through right away, but I never received that critical notice). This is a major problem when time is of the essence to file a police report and insurance claim.
The third problem is that it will be virtually impossible to navigate even a large car at this location in the wintertime because of how steep and side-angled the road paths are in the lot. With any ice it would be extremely dangerous to try to drive in the lot. I would recommend choosing one of the many flat storage lots that are around the area.
Lastly, I moved out the 1st day of the month and attempted to have them prorate the last months rent or at very least take a little bit off since I am only using it for 1 day out of the month, or at very very least not charge me for insurance that I have found out that I don't need as homeowners or renters insurance covers it anyways, but they are completely unwilling to comply with any request. So basically I get to pay $200 for something I am using for 1 day.

Thanks for costing me money and causing me stress.
