Provided by SuperpagesMy recent stay with Sleep Inn at this location from the first night we checked in has been horrible. The first day we arrived which was early in the morning after driving 12 hours from NC. We arrived at the hotel around 5:30 a.m. walked in the hotel and we had to wait for 5 min before we realized there was a white male in the laundry room listening to music with headphones blaring because we had to get his attention. After checking in and waiting, we went into our room and wanted to rest for a few hours before getting up around 9 a.m for Cedar Point. After falling asleep housekeeper bust into our room without knocking or any notice waking us up thinking that someone was breaking into our room. The only thing they said after coming in was “sorry” after scaring us to death around 7:00 am. after that incident we fall back asleep and then it happens again around 7:15 a.m and we are completely baffled thinking why is this still happening. Then it happens one more time around 8:00 a.m and we are basically saying why is this still happening when this is the third incident. We decided to just get up and go to cedar point since we couldn’t get any real sleep. There were no more incidents until our last night stay which was the 3rd night. After going out to Marblehead lighthouse we return to shower and go to dinner but we can’t get into the back of the hotel we were entering in the past couple nights. So we walk to the front and speak to the white male we initially spoke to at the initial check in and he says that the strips on the cards were messed up because of possibly being around our phones from interference. So he gives us new cards and states that those should work. They didn’t work and we walked back to tell him and he states we will just have to come back to the front desk every time until the door was fixed. We went back to the room after he let us in and we tried to shower but the water was cool and not warm or hot like the other nights had been. After speaking about all of these issues they offered no discount or proration for any part of all of our inconveniences. We didn’t want to stay after hearing that. Then he offers us to move all of our stuff to a different room for the remainder of the night because he didn’t want to contact a manager to speak about it and there was no definite time when the battery for the card scanner would be fixed. I asked for the manager and then a Arabic lady wearing a purple shirt steps in asking me questions about the issues we have had and confronts me as if I’m lying about the housekeepers coming in our room at those times. I told her to watch the cameras if you think I’m lying. She never had a response and then as I’m talking she tells the white guy to go check on the hot water. I ask her as I have been talking to her for the past 5-10 min who are you and what is your title here. The lady says she doesn’t work there and she was not going to tell me the managers name. I was completely baffled by the fact that she refused to even give information for an issue with the hotel. Then the white guy comes back and I ask him who is she because was handing him money and she looks at him and tells him not to say anything and he says I can’t tell you who she is or the manager. Then as the lady continued saying she doesn’t work there and wasn’t going to give any info for a manager, I started to record her since she had the other guy aiding her as if the issues I had presented to them were inaccurate. She got upset and states I can’t take pictures or record her and calls the police. I said sure because I was going to call them too because this is a civil issue which Police can’t do anything about as of refunds, rooms complaints, key cards and hot water heaters. As we are walking back to our room getting the white guy to open the door we ask when is the police getting here so we can

Provided by SuperpagesI brought my son and his friend to Sandusky for spring break and needed a room for overnight. I booked this in advance and got a great deal. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially for the price. I was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel looked brand new and was very clean. It has a very modern layout and our walk in shower was an added bonus. The staff was very friendly, even allowing us a late check-out so we could sleep in after a busy day at Kalahari water park. I would definitely stay here again!

Provided by SuperpagesThis hotel is perfect to stay after a long day spent riding roller coasters or island hopping. The rooms are spacious, clean, and homey, and although we didn't indulge, the free breakfast looked like it had adequate options (you can't be picky if it's free!). I will definitely consider this hotel for future trips to Sandusky!

Provided by SuperpagesThis was a fantastic hotel to stay at. I have been to many hotels in the area and this was by far one of the better ones that I have stayed at. The room that we stayed in was well worth the money. I would recommend this to people who wanted a great place to stay for a great price!
