Besides knowing all facets of framing a picture, we offer custom mirrors, art & frame restorations, shadow boxes and conservation framing. We service all residential as well as commercial orders. The best picture framing work anywhere. I just drop off everything and anything (pictures, prints, posters, even ticket stubs and sports cards) to owner Leigh Crueger and just let her choose the frames, etc. I'm always more than 100% satisfied. I've tried others, but no one even comes close. Leigh is friendly, professional, meticulous, talented and artistic. You won't be disappointed.

A Frame of Art is locally owned and operated. We have been providing custom picture framing for some of North San Diego's more discriminating individuals, artists and commercial clients since 1989. All of the work, including the frame cutting and joining, matting, mounting and the final fit and finishing, is done on premises. Your satisfaction is our primary concern. With the care and preservation of your artwork in mind, A Frame of Art only uses acid free mounting and matting materials. Various types of glass and plexiglass are available, including regular or non-glare, UV protective, and museum quality glass. There are literally hundreds of picture frames and matt board samples displayed. Choose from maple, oak, cherry, walnut, Koa, laminated, veneers, inlays, aluminum all with many profiles, shapes and finishes. Some are stained, lacquered or natural, others come in many variations of gold, silver or bronze. If you can't find what you're looking for on our walls, and you have the time, there are thousands more to look at in the catalogs. We are also able to match almost any frame out there. Oil painting and picture frame restoration services are also available
