Established in 2000, SLO Hep C Project is a provider of supportive services for county residents living with hepatitis C. Located in San Luis Obispo, Calif., the project also educates the public and healthcare providers about viral hepatitis. Additionally, SLO Hep C Project offers various facilities that comprise Hep C support groups, bilingual services, health and public/private benefits counseling, as well as nutritional counseling. Apart from this, the project undertakes Hepatitis C testing and screening.
