I called to ask them to hold 2 pairs of shoes that were out of stock in the store where I live as well as on their website. I was told by a female associate I spoke to on the phone, who went and checked in the back, that they had the 2 pairs of shoes in the size and style and would put them on hold for 24 hours.



I drove 35 miles to the store to pick them up later that afternoon, and customer service had no idea of what I was talking about and neither did the sales associate in shoes. They only had one pair of the shoes in the back stockroom, and the sales associate who helped me was very nice and professional.



The reason I am giving them two stars is that it didn't seem like a big deal that I was giving my business to this store and if I call to reserve something and am told they have it, then I would hope the items would be there for pick up.



If the shoes were placed somewhere and later found, I will gladly write a better review, but I felt like I wasn't given good customer service on the phone, even though the associate in shoes who I spoke to in person was very helpful and should be commended, I guess for actually doing his job? The associate was very helpful and should be recognized for his efforts.
