Established in 1962, William C. Overfelt High School provides a range of educational programs to more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. Its art department offers classes in drama, stagecraft, speech, choir, band and orchestra. The school s curriculum includes classes in business education, English, foreign languages, computer science, mathematics and science. The school s media center offers magazines, newspapers, books, and audio and video clips. William C. Overfelt High School s sports programs include cross country, football, soccer, volleyball, tennis, swimming, baseball and softball. The school also offers a variety of instructional support programs for students with physical disabilities. William C. Overfelt High School is a part of the East Side Union High School District and is located in San Jose, Calif.
