About Steven Cotton Photography Steven is a self taught photographer who picked up photography when his girlfriend (now wife) Tara got him his first camera as an anniversary gift in 2009. After learning how to use his camera, Steven gravitated towards something that he has always been passionate about - sports; and eventually started a local sports photography website. This gave Steven a lot of experience that ended up helping him transition into portraiture. Fast forward many years of practicing on friends & family members and learning the ins-and-outs of running a business, Steven took a leap of faith and turned his hobby into his full-time job in 2016.
