I did a lot of research into various schools before putting my child in Champion School for its great support system, focus on confidence building, and setting up the child for success. At first I just though this was just marketing fluff, but it is not; I couldn't be happier with my decision to come to Champion.

Champion School has been an AMAZING experience for my child. Since we have come here our daughter has improved her writing skills, her math level has gone up, and her confidence levels are now sky high.

This doesn’t mean more stress for the parents, as they support the child throughout with frequent one-on-ones. I was honestly surprised at how frequent these one-on-ones are. I actually thought of using this concept and hiring tutors for one-on-ones - I don’t see how they make money as one-on-one tutoring costs are astronomical! (~$30/hr)

They really do make their students learn the material well and effectively - any hands on parent should be able to see this clear as day. One can also take entrance tests to gauge how well the school does - for example my daughter got 98th percentile on the CHSPE (the California High School Proficiency Examination, the exam you take before applying to private high schools).

In regards to administration, I understand why people think of it as a negative of the school. They can be a bit slow getting back to me, but once they do they try to help to the best of their abilities. The reason I don’t mind is the principal clearly would rather spend her time getting to know every student, their level, their progress, and their happiness level. I am simply AMAZED by the amount of care the principal does this with. She even knows which particular concepts your child struggles with and assigns one-on-ones to help bolster these concepts. She is also down to earth and is actively apart of your child’s education. The fact that pretty much all the kids seem to like her a lot is a bonus. In my honest opinion, I would rather have a principal more focused on getting my child the help she needs than one who is a customer service bot.

If you want your child to enjoy learning and excel at it to, this is the school for you!

NOTE: My child is now in the middle of HS. She is still doing amazing in school and is excelling with ease and much studying needed to be done. We both attribute this mostly to the amazing qualities of the school.

Excellent institution committed to students' education. Highly qualified staff, individualized one-on-one attention, and a well-rounded approach make for an outstanding educational experience. The Principal is in my daughter's class every day. Whenever we meet her, she is always able to provide significant insight into my daughter's learning style, progress, and her needs. My daughter loves her.

I would highly recommend this school. More importantly, my daughter loves the school.

What a disappointment this school has been. The principal would sweep any important issues under the rug, saying they are not a concern of hers when she very well aware of it. Important issues never got resolved because of minimal communication. I attempt few phone calls and written communication through emails. There was no acknowledgment from principle. There are few points I would like to mention below.

I would not recommend this school. I am so thankful I removed my child from this school. At first I thought it was great, but time shortly showed me the truth.

The administration of the school is very poor. It's totally unprofessional. Many unethical acts was noted by principal/owner and most inappropriate was gossiping between the students parents and discussing family matters.

The biggest issue is the honesty and integrity of the owners, especially the husband. They are very unprofessional. Multiple times we have been accused of non-payment even after sending an emails of evidence. There is no possibility of fraud as we have always issued cashier's checks with a confirmation number.

Champion school is not compatible with any other school even on the minimal basis. My research clearly shows that sending my child to public school would be better off then sending him to Champion. Students have been given the test copies a day before the test to ensure they will automatically do well. Furthermore, the focus of the school is towards mathematics, ignoring all the other subjects. Very often, students have been blackmailed to write good reviews on the Champion School and Facebook website, otherwise they would be abandoned from the next debate.
If you care about your child and his/her wellbeing, please do not let him/her go anywhere near this school.

The principal Ms. Mona flat out lied to us that they don’t give any HW where else she give the question paper to the students before 1 day of the test so they get 100 % without learning.

We are extremely happy with this school. We had our older daughter in this school until a couple of years ago, when we moved to public school and last year we enrolled our younger one here. This school is very unique in many ways:

Kids get a lot of 1on1 help; there is no limit to how high a child can go - every child progresses at her own pace; lots of teachers, few office staff; very patient with the kids, less so with the parents; great with a child's developmental needs, less so with the clerical stuff..

We are confident that our child will be safe, happy and learn at a rate that is unparalleled. Our older daughter is a topper at her school. We think it is due to the strong foundation that she built at this school. If we could afford it, we would bring her back to Champion. We recommend this school highly.

Well rounded school

I love the school. It is very well rounded. It offers high academics and has a great second language, arts and sports program.
