Capp's Pressure Washing just completed a job at our home and we were very pleased with the work product and service. The estimate was completed quickly and Mr. Capp was very knowledgeable and professional. The job was scheduled in a timely manner and during the two day job, the employees were prompt, professional and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the day. We had our deck, stone retaining wall and front porch/deck pressure washed, plus the front and back decks stained. The final results were great and our decks look brand new! We plan to use this company again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Improperly stained my arbor

Capp's Pressure Washing improperly stained my arbor during cold and moist weather conditions, no reputable business should have assured me that it is fine to stain in the middle of January and apply the stain they provided on top of due covered boards. Needless to say, the stain did not adhere and the boards are turning black. The flagstone underneath the trellis was not adequately protected and is now badly stained. The owner was continuously rude to me on my own property. Following is how he replied in writing to my request for a repair, While I was writing this she called again to complain about 1 particular board on her trellis that was darker than the others and believe it or not it was a board that she wanted us to apply a second layer of stain to and now that board is a little darker than the rest. She then asks can I come over and sand that board down and stain it again. Yeah right! The owner assured me that it is fine to do the job, stained a sample two days before with his product and again confirmed that it is fine to proceed with staining, yet this is how he replied in writing to that regarding the timing of the job, She should be concerned about staining her trellis in January but don't hold the time you choose to stain your trellis against Capp's Pressure Washing. No credible business should accept a job if the conditions are unfavorable for a long-term success especially when claiming that the stain would last two years. Following is an expert opinion from Cabot Customer Service (owned by Valspar Consumer Brands), From our conversation, it sounds like the product was applied on moist wood and the temperature at night is not conducive to drying for this stain, Clear Solutions. The stain is unable to withstand moisture and temperature below 50 degress for 48 hours after application, usually cracks, blisters and begins to peel. It is unlikely that the stain will last for 2 years, please re-evaluate it in the Spring of this year. I am now working with a general contractor to correct this fiasco and I am pursuing property damages claim for the added expenses of stripping down the stain, and doing the job all over again properly as well as repairing or replacing the flagstone. Capps Pressure Washing does not have property damage insurance so I am working with my home-owners insurance legal team to collect money for the damage done to my property by Capps Pressure Washing.
