Bachrodt Charter Academy is an academic institution that provides educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. It is comprised of more than 20 primary, upper grade and special education teachers and support staff, including counselors, speech therapists, and reading and writing specialists. Located in San Jose, Calif., Bachrodt Charter Academy operates a conversion charter school that works to promote academic achievement and supports research-based educational practices. It maintains an academic curriculum that includes math, science, social studies, technology, language and creative arts, English, computer applications and foreign languages. The school is a part of the San Jos Unified School District, which governs various elementary, middle and high school.
