Awesome and unique, an unforgettable experience that keeps you wanting to come back and learn more! Not a dull moment at all, but a fun filled and enjoyable experience for everyone! I wished I started training in Aikido earlier in life especially with John Santos Sensei as my instructor since there is always something new and creative in every class that he has prepared for all of us, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced pratictioner of Aikido. I have been to another school of Aikido, but it was not the same at all, but all showmanship. Aikido of Japantown is the real deal here due in part that it is being taught as though the founder of Aikido were teaching us. Aikido really does bring about stress relief through relaxation, more awareness of your surroundings and teaches you to move more fluidly with your whole body moving as a whole entity. John Santos Sensei's teaching is really paramount to the founder's teaching which still intrigues me to this day. Check it out.
