i have a FN TSR-XP rifle. I tried to disassemble the bolt to clean inside but I didn’t follow the manual instructions. The pin was not in the cocked position before I turned the breech bolt sleeve to the left.

Bain and Davis staff took 30 seconds to fix it for FREE of charge. Very professional and friendly.

TERRIBLE. Couldn't spell GUN unless you spot them the G and the N. Six weeks, $100 dollars to fix my Browning 92 riffle. First time I took it to the range, it jammed. Took it back to the idiots. Sevel weeks later they call and tell me that they didn't even take it apart, they chambered some rounds and it "looked ok". UNBELIEVABLE. They should have their Browning Authorization taken away. I wouldn't take a pellet gun to them. 13 weeks total and the gun still doesn't work.

I've been going to Bain and Davis for over 20 years. They're good smiths, reasonably priced and their turnover is pretty quick. If you have an older gun that needs parts, they actually search for an exact replacement, rather than just going with what's available.They really do make you welcome when you're there.



They really stand behind their work. It's really a pleasure going there. They have a small inventory (it's a really small store), some exotic ammo as well as the usual stuff, and a good selection of used/consignment firearms.



They've worked on several of my guns, my son's Springfield .45 as well as a 50 year old Remington 572 pump. I reccomend them!
