Visitacion Valley Elementary School is a Title I project school that serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its curriculum includes math, English, Chinese, science, social studies and language arts. The school coordinates talented and gifted education and English Language Learners programs. Visitacion Valley Elementary School also operates a parent-teachers organization that participates in fundraisers. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including Safety Patrol, Samoan Club and multicultural assemblies. Additionally, the school coordinates an after-school multilingual tutorial and recreational program. Visitacion Valley Elementary School is governed by the San Francisco Unified School District, which governs several elementary, middle and high schools.
