Dr. Hastik is an incredibly knowledgeable doctor - and she is warm and caring. I have been with her now for seven years -- she is prompt at return calls, even on the weekends. It's like she;s glued to the phone.



If you have questions, call around and speak with therapists in the city of SF that know her, they will say the same. I was referred by two separate clin psychologists and my primary care doctor to her seven years ago. And they were right about her level of care -- it is the best. I just wish she was less expensive but you get what you pay for.

Before you hire the psychiatrist Dr. Karin Leslie Hastik, see the Attorney General's Office of California's final decision and discplinary order brought against her in May 2010 in the matter of the serious Accusation and Charges filed in 2006.

On May 19, 2010, the Medical Board of California revoked psychiatrist Karin L. Hastik’s license for: Extreme departure from the Standard of Care, Unprofessional Conduct, Gross Negligence/Repeated Negligence, Prescribing without Prior Examination/Tests/Medical Indication and Inadequate Medical Records." She is on probation for five years with numerous onerous and burdensome terms and conditions. The decision almost went against her regarding Dishonesty charges as well.
