One of the many hotels from the Joie De Vive Hospitality company. It is another one of my favorite places to stay in San Francisco. The rooms are very comfortable and the windows actually open. The fireplace suite is excellent. The quaint elevator with the accordian door brings back memories. Bring your appetite for the wonderful breakfasts. Their potato bread is handmade and the have something for everyone and it changes everyday. From quiche to oatmeal. The afternoon wine tasting gives you a chance to meet the other guests. I have met a lot of wonderful people during the time I was there
