Highland Technology is an electronics design and manufacturing company that specializes in high quality precision instrumentation and control applications. Many company products are designed to conform with the IEEE-standardized VME/VXI and CAMAC modular instrumentation systems. This ensures compatibility with thousands of modules and system components manufactured and distributed by worldwide VME and CAMAC suppliers. Highland Technology designs and manufactures custom OEM products for use in a wide variety of customer applications. It has recently completed a sub-miniature-size digital delay generator and a picosecond timing module, both for imaging applications. In association with Varian NMR Instruments, Highland has designed and manufactured both the pulsed-field gradient drivers and the temperature controllers used with NMR spectrometer systems. Highland has also designed a versatile line of electrical and thermal measurement units, suitable for end-use load studies, electrical and thermal submetering, and demand-side management applications.
