First let me say, I've been in the wedding business for the last 25 years, I am a wedding photographer... but that didn't help me from being taken by this "jewelry company".



Brides beware, this place only guarantees their rings for three months, yes 3 months.



I had my wedding band made here by "Darin". He used my diamonds. Within 3 months, a diamond fell out of my ring. I was lucky because I found it in the bottom of the shower. I took it back and he fixed it. I figured it was a fluke.



Then about three months later, another diamond FELL OUT! This time it was totally lost.



This place is super inconvenient with downtown parking and short hours. Anyway, my hubby and I went today, I just wanted him to give me another stone (diamond) and I would have the work done at another jewelry store. I had lost all faith in this place.



I was told three times by Darin: "It's only jewelry"! I only guarantee my work for three months, this was probably YOUR fault....end of conversation...NOW....GET OUT OF HERE!!!



Needless to say, we left. I have a wedding band with a hole in it where the stone should be.Seriously, BEWARE OF WECHSLER & GOODMAN, they only guarantee your wedding rings for three months..... Are you kidding me???



Don't buy your rings or have any of their crappy custom work done at Wechsler & Goodman Jewelry Co. !!!!!



This is NOT A REPUTABLE JEWELRY STORE. I took my ring to another jewelry store and they fixed it and replaced the diamond at my expense. I have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau and California Department of Consumer Affairs.

I had a sapphire set in a ring for my wife, It was a very open setting, but the stone fell out a couple of times, and ultimately lost. I went to Wechler & Goodman to have a new stone put in and mounted in a secure fashion, but still wanting the setting to be open with light able to come in through the bottom. They found ( in a catelog) the appropriate mounting piece to add to my ring. They ordered the piece, then re-made the ring. The service was timely, expert, and very reasonable. The ring continues to get notice and comments, sometimes from store clerks or other business folks who notice it. They also replaced the battery and cleaned up an old watch I had, for little more than the cost of the battery. I would definitely go there for any of my jewelry needs.

I've been using Wechsler and Goodman for 34 years. What a find they were for me. Dave has custom designed and reparied jewlery for me and it comes out perfect every time. They are very knowledgeable and will tell you when they can't do something or will offer alterternatives for you. When you take your jewelery to the "JEWELER" for repairs they send it to Wechsler and Goodman and charge you 10 times what Wechsler does. They are the jeweler's jeweler. Weshsler charges you what they charge the jeweler ( you won't believe the prices ). I've gotten to where I just drop my stuff off and say "call me when it's ready", I don't even need to get an estimate. I'm always surprised when I get it back. Try them. You'll be pleasantly surprised, especially if you're used to going to the big name jewelers.

The service, quality of their work, and the warm, friendly staff have kept us coming back for years, and we will continue to do so! Thanks W & G!

I brought in two pieces of couture costume jewelry that needed repair and enlarging. David, an expert craftsman, made moldings of one of the pieces so that it could be enlarged. He did it perfectly. I'm amazed at his ability. This was no small task. The other piece needed the links to be soldered so that it could hang properly and w/o risk of breakage. His work was not visible and the piece hangs in perfect proportion. Again, I'm amazed, and I'm impressed and thankful for his work. Also the price for this work was a tremendous value.

I have been coming to W&G for over 10 years to get my jewelry repaired, appraised, engraved, or custom designed. They are incredibly affordable. So much so, that you can bring in a piece of jewelry you may not "love" and turn it into something you will. They give you all your options so you can decide how much or how little you actually want to spend.

Don't go to the mall to get your jewelry repaired - they will charge you an arm and a leg. The fancy jewelers aren't going to be much better. I have been going to W&G for so long, I had no idea how much money other jeweler charge. A friend of mine was quoted $100 to have a ring rhodium plated (a process that will make yellow gold look like white gold or even platinum). When I took this same ring to W&G they charged only $15!

I don't have too many examples of how much you can save... because I always go straight to them.



They also do re-stringing for pearl or beaded necklaces. Their appraisals are a fraction of how much other places charge. I am constantly recommending them to people... and bringing in repairs for all my friends and family.

I've been taking jewelry to Wechslers to be repaired for over five years. They have always done an excellent job, in a short time, and at a very good price. They also can make jewelry to your design. They are much cheaper then a fancy local jewelry shop.

Needed a stone for a ring. They found an excellent gem for a good price. work was fast,excellent quality and the price very reasonable. Highly recomemd

I’ve taken things to Wechsler & Goodman for years. They always do a great job, in a short time, and very inexpensively, much less then your local jeweler.

David Wechsler has been my family jeweler for over 25 years and has personally designed, created and repaired many treasured and beautiful pieces over the years. He does great work, offers excellent advice, is always on time and the prices are great!

My jewelry is always ready on time and in beautiful condition. I have had two beautiful rings made which always get compliments. Any repairs I have had done turned out perfectly, you would never know anything was broken. Their goal is truly to make you happy. Thanks W&G!
