Photon Research Associates (PRA) is a technology services and products company, which was acquired by Raytheon Company in October 2004. Since its inception in 1976, PRA has been a pioneer in the development and application of physics-based modeling, simulation and analysis products and services for government and commercial markets. The major focus of PRA s business operations has been in the areas of remote sensing, missile defense, surveillance and reconnaissance, intelligence data analysis and stealth system design. The company is based in San Diego and has expanded to a total of five divisions at strategic sites throughout the United States.
