Our mother recently died. Our family knew her preference for cremation. We called several firms for price quotes that ranged from $700 - $3500 for basic cremation services. What we discovered was that the services offered by the different firms were exactly the same. ie. removal from place of death and cremation. It was at this point that we selected Preferred Cremation to handle our mothers arrangements. The cost were modest at $670 Upon sitting down with Mr. Jenkins to finalize arrangements he provided options to us. I will never forget Mr. Jenkins saying to my family" I'm gonna make a few suggestions and respect your decisions" what he suggested was a memorial service at Mothers church, which consisted of a framed picture of Mother flanked by two standing floral arrangements, an absolutely beautiful memorial program with pictures, live musician, memorial book and a funeral director to coordinate the services. Total cost $1125.00 (Cremation cost included) Hands down the BEST!

I attended a memorial presented by Preferred Cremation and Burial. I was truly impressed by the way they made an understandably sad situation - the bereavement of a beloved woman who was a grandmother, sister, mother, aunt and friend - into a time of positive remembrance, gratefulness and adulation.Everyone at the service was emotionally affected by the remarkable 'Life's Video' provided as part of the memorial from this wonderful company. The tears which flowed were more tears of joy than sadness.The entire staff presented itself very professionally and with a great deal of compassion. If I am ever asked to recommend a funeral home, I would definitely provide the name of Preferred Cremation and Burial.Since attending this funeral, I have learned from others in attendance, not only were the prices more than reasonable, but most agreed the service was exemplary and carefully and compassionately planned.The highest commendations should be given the entire staff for their services.

If ever you need an establishment of truly professional and unpretentious people, this is the place to go. Mr. Jenkins was down to earth and fair with his prices. He didn't try to make a whole lot of money off of my family like Greenwood or Ragsdale, but still provided a dignified and respectable service.
