These people are shady they did not return my deposit and closed the business now they are operating under NuView and H.I.R.E Home Improvement Referral Experts....the owners name is bettye F Google the number 6197080800

Anyone know if Nu Cote went out of business. I can't seem to find them anywhere????

If anyone knows if they opened under different name...let me know!!!!!!

We have had two projects completed by Nu-Cote. Our entire house had the Stucco coating done and we had some windows done including a large garden window in the front of the house. Everything went great throughout both projects - timely completion and explanation all the way until the end. The project managers worked with us during the process to make sure we knew what we were getting and things were being done to our satisfaction. At this point a favorable review was already in order. Until a couple months ago there was a big rain and our garden window let water in through the bottom. We inspected to find a bad seal and water sitting inside the bottom of the window. I immediately called my contact and he came by not even an hour later. He inspected, gave a quick fix to stop the leaking and decided to call the manufacturer on our behalf. When put in touch with the window manufacturer, they offered a solution that, to me, seemed like a "band aid" as opposed to a real repair. I talked with my Nu-Cote guy, and then with his manager, and they decided to talk with the manufacturer. Long enough story short...they got them to replace the entire window on their dime and re-installed it for me. Needless to say we're very appreciative and it was very professional for Nu-Cote to deal with the manufacturer themselves instead of having me fight it out on my own. I'm extremely pleased with the results, the follow up and the professionalism we experienced throughout the entire process and fully expect to use Nu-Cote for any future projects I may have. Thanks!

Well, 1st, their “texcote" is not stucco, it’s misleading. We wanted to change the stucco finish to something smoother than what we had, Nu coat said no problem, but when the job was completed, it was the same finish, just with a thick paint over it, it didn’t smooth out anything. Also, they say they have 35 years of experience, but their license is very new, it’s not a 35 year old CSLB license.

When getting pricing quotes to have windows installed, we put a deposit check to 2 companies. One of these was Nu-Cote. We got the estimates only 12 hours apart, and canceled Nu-Cote well within the 3 day cancellation, only to find they already deposited the check! Not only are we fighting to get our $500 back (nobody at Nu-Cote will call us back!) but their fun little trip with our $500 cost us almost double because they made us bounce checks. Nice credit dinging, Nu-Cote.



As we are a military family, we are bringing this company up with the installation commander, voicing our displeasure on military community sites, and most emphatically NOT recommending Nu-Cote to anyone. It's been about a month, and without legal help, I don't think we'll ever hear from anybody at Nu-Cote about getting our money back. I should have put it on my credit card instead, so I could fight this easier.



Now, onto the BBB and the CSLB.

I had a wonderful experience at Nucote. They did the coolwall system on the exterior of my house.

I am very happy with the results. My house looks beautiful now. I loved Nucote's customer service team. They were very nice and helpful. I would refer Nucote to all my friends and family.

I have the great pleasure of highly recommending Nu-Cote to anyone considering this system of house "painting".

I have had worked with many contractors over the last 30 years. From room additions to bathroom renovations, to kitchen remodel, but I can honestly say Nu-Cote tops them all. The delightful saleman Michael Martinez who carefully explained the process of Nu-Cote--how it's done and the time frame in which it is accomplished. The Field Supervisor Jerry Enfinger who called promptly as Michael had said he would and told us he would be by on Monday. And, what do you know --HE WAS HERE ON MONDAY!! And all during the Nu-Cote process, Jerry was by keeping an eye on the proceedings. And of course I cannot forget or say enough about the crew who did all the hard work--Matteo and Sergio--are the best of the best. And now for the grand finale--Jerry said the work woul be done on Friday--and--THEY WERE DONE ON FRIDAY!!! When has that ever happened??!!

Nu-cote--you guys are the champions in my book!

We had windows replaced and the house and outbuildings Tex-Coated. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work, or quality of the teams that did the work.



The teams, and team leaders for both jobs were wonderful. Easy to talk to, and very focused on getting it right the first time.



The team leader / supervisor was on site 90% of the time, unlike the two other contractors we have used where there was no supervision, and the people doing the work didn't speak English.



Nu Cotes supervisors had the authority to do whatever it took to make us happy - good management!



The quality of work is excellent.



They installed the windows during the rain season. One window leaked, they fixed it and verified it by having me blast the window with a hose. Many storms later, no further leaks.



The biggest picture window had a smudge inside the dual pane, it was swapped out within several days.



They pressure washed the house in preparation for paint, then rain delayed application. The pressure washed again to make sure they had good bonding.



We used 4 different colors. The borders were very straight and crisp, on stucco!



I recommend this company whole heartedly.

I recently had my home Text-Coated by Nu-Cote and had an excellent experience to share. Brian was our Project Manager and Jesus was the field Manager. They both did an outstanding job working with us and making sure we got what we wanted and were happy with the work. Brian worked very closely with us to come up with a perfect color scheme for our home. He stayed in contact with us during the entire process making sure we were happy with the work taking place. He is a young energetic guy and a pleasure to work with. Jesus - I honestly cannot say enough about the wonderful work he and his team did on our home. The transformation was just amazing. Jesus has great "people skills" and was so easy for us to communicate with. He fully understood what we wanted and kept us in the loop every step of the way. I would work with him again in a heartbeat if the opportunity ever comes up. My project would have been complete in a week if it weren't for several days of rain during the process. The team was there all day every day they were able to work until it was finished. I never once felt that other jobs were more important than mine as I had the same guys there every dry day until it was done and I was 100% satisfied.



I would recommend Nu-Cote without hesitation.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that your product Tex-Cote is truly living up to your advertising. I live in Fallbrook,CA where temperatures can reach three digits in the summer and i dont have air conditioning. My house is extremely well insulated. Before applying Tex-Cote I commonly could leave the house closed up to keep the cool in untill about 3:00pm, then i would have to open up and let the heat in. Now i can leave the house closed up until it's actually cooler outside;about 6:00pm. When i open now, the cool air flow in. Tex-Cote has given me that last little edge I needed against the heat. Thank you for a job well done.
