"My favorites are the gyros and the pita plates, and they have great lunch and dinner specials. Be warned: these plates are very filling! It's easy to order too much (because it all looks so tasty!) and then be too full to finish it.
They are also great about customizing meals for those of us that are picky eaters. :)"

My son had me meet him here for lunch, the portions are big and very healthy for you, i've come back twice since i was here for lunch. so far no dislikes.

I found this place with my dad and goodness it’s so yummy so happy the entertainment book brought us here I love this place and will continue to come.

I had heard many good comments about Mediterranean Cafe's, but until today had never experienced dining there. I must admit that it is everything I was told and more. The menu offers a variety of excellent choices at very reasonable prices. My selection of gyros was well prepared, well presented, and very, very good. The service is friendly

We really enjoy good Mediterranean cuisine and are constantly on the search for the best. Today we had an early dinner at Mediterranean Cafe and found it! Without a doubt the best Mediterranean food in San Diego! The menu selections were plentiful and varied.

Stopped in one afternoon after noticing the sign while reroute to another location for lunch - I was SO glad we decided to eat here instead! We opted for the platter for two and added on a cup of lentil soup (for me) and some grilled vegetables (for my mom). It came with plenty of pita bread

This little restaurant is a jewel. The food was flavorful, interesting and filling. The service was excellent. I would definitely dine here again when in town.

This is not your typical hummus and pita place. Ever visit is an authentic experience with tasty, well prepared Middle Eastern cuisine. The owner/chef is a Palestinian who brings experience and commitment to a healthy and diverse menu. Their stuffed grape leaves are awesome. To small outdoor tables that are pet friendly.

This was a short drive from our hotel, but clearly worth getting into the car. The food was very creative and fresh. The staff was so pleasant. A great dining experience.

The food is awesome here. We went a couple of weeks ago and the service was good, the owner was friendly and the food, as I said before was awesome. Generous serving sizes too, I had enough left over for lunch the next day. It was a great night with great food.

My family has recently been going to the restaurant for a few months. The owner and staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The owner, Fred, makes you feel like you are entering his home - can't do enough for you. The food is top notch and the prices are extremely reasonable. He assured us that after the total makeover of the decor (which by the way is very inviting with a Mediterranean flare), the prices would stay the same. Friday night is a busy night due to the guitar player (Spanish / Flamenco - he's real good!!) and I hope they include Saturday nights in the near future. I have recommended this establishment to all of my friends and they have been equally impressed.

Love this place! The environment is so quaint and lovely and the food is delicious. I love getting the dinner for 2...it is more than enough food and has so much variety on it you get a taste of everything. I have been here a bunch of times now and am always very pleased. They even do take-out which is convenient for times when you dont have time to sit down inside. The owner of the place is so friendly too. He always comes and acknowledges customers and makes sure they are satisfied with everything. They also have a guitar guy that plays on certain nights and is so good too! Definitely recommend this place!

There Falafel plate was amazing, side rice and hummus with pita made this a big meal. Great service too, will be back again!

I been coming to Mediterranean Cafe for years my Mom introduced me to the place the food is fantastic here and the service just as good prices just right the owner knows us well every time we go in there he's so happy to see us he really values his customers. We always order the Half Lemon Chicken it comes with the Lemon Chicken of course, Rice that I can’t get enough of it's so good... and a delicious Greek Salad and Pita Bread I have tried many of their other dishes as well they all taste just as good and the Key Lime Pie is to die for! The portions are a lot one order gives you almost 2 meals I never leave hungry and love the leftovers I highly recommend this restaurant.

The owners are super nice and personable, and are quick to recognize repeat customers. They often wait the restaurant themselves, or are in the back helping with the cooking.
