Never let these people into your home. I had to do a military move and they were more interested in dry firing my fire arms and throwing kettle bells ontop of breakable things in boxes. Somehow they kicked the welded metal slats out of my sons bed, crack my bed frame in half, kick and know half of the top off of my coffee table, and stole anything they could get there hands on. When I called them they don't answer their phone, and won't return your calls. According to my police report they won't even call the police back about a reported theft.

All told between what they destroyed or stole I lost 37,000$ and when you file a claim with them the only answer I was sent after asking about it was, oh that's not our fault.

This is not only the worst moving company, it's the worst company ever!! I am 8 months pregnant... we were moved from San diego to Virginia... they took a month to deliver less than half of our stuff.. and they haven't found the rest. Lack of communication, professionalism, experience and they don't care for their customers. I really HOPE they do something about this, because we are the ones that need to be calling every day every hour to find out if they have found any of our stuff.. seriously??? we had a full house and they don't find them. I will never do a military move again, first and last time... not only time and money but the stress is not worth, I haven't been able to sleep because they can't give us an answer on where our stuff are or when we will see them. I have to be calling directly Johnson every hour and every day because they will never give a call to tell us what is going on... oh and to pack they took 11 hours, 11 hours to pack a 2 bedroom apartment, the 2 movers were taking breaks every 30 minutes, because of course the military pays them per hour, they packed everything in crates and they can't find the crates now.... this is a nightmare seriously, is not good for me or our baby... we are already taking legal action on these, I hope they can find all our stuff and deliver them very soon of they will be in trouble

They told us to give them 2 weeks notice to get our stuff out of storage and transported to Atlanta, GA from San Diego, CA. We gave them 3 weeks notice and the stuff was delivered late. In addition to this they lost 1/3 of my stuff. How do you lose a dining room table, couch and queen size bed and mattresses? They kept refusing to commit to a delivery date until the day before they delivered which made it very hard to plan our move. They paid for an air mattress for us to sleep on while they tried to find our stuff. Are you serious? It has been over 10 days. How long are we supposed to sleep on an air mattress while they try to find our stuff?

By the way, they are Monday thru Friday 9 to 5 - so don't even think about having a problem with a weekend move - you can only leave a message!!

Letter to the CEO was useless - he just sent it on to customer service who had offered the air mattress. So the end result is we lost about $15000 worth of stuff, we are still sleeping on an air mattress and they are going to give us 60 cents a pound - probably about $500.

AVOID! We used these guys to ...

AVOID! We used these guys to move from Mira Mesa to Scripps Ranch. The guys who moved us out were overworked and disorganized. They didn't protect walls and corners and left about a dozen spots that needed painting or patching later. But I don't blame them so much as the management. They convinced us to hire one of their partner companies to "Professionally" pack our washer and dryer and unpack and setup at the destination. When we get our washer in our new house, it leaks. So, the packers blame the movers, and the movers blame the packers. Bottom line, Johnson is paying us $60 for a $700, 3 year old washer, through insurance. They say we could have purchased more insurance, but why would we, when were already convinced to pay extra for the "professional" packing?

Also, we made it clear to Johnson that we were purchasing pedistals to put the washer and dryer on at our new house. They said "no problem". Well, when the washer and dryer were delivered, the "professionals" insisted that we pay $70 extra to mount them, which involved lifting them and tightening 4 bolts, before they would set them up.

We discovered that one of our Drexel dressers was packed and stored upside down. The guys who moved us in shows us this, and it had a huge deep scratch. I don't know how much they will reimburse us for that, as they've pretty much stopped returning our calls. I don't use moving companies enough to recommend another one, but their has to be companies out there more honest and conscientious than this one!

Excellent Experience

I used Johnson United for my move from San Diego to North Carolina. They were on time, polite, my things arrived without damage and the price never changed. I would highly recommend this company!
