2 months ago my father was put on hospice. During his last days we were in need of around the clock care. He was in pain and my mother was so tired and she couldn't give him the care he needed. We looked up Firstat on this website. I called the office and spoke to someone at 3:30p.m. on a Friday afternoon. We were hoping to start care that night or the next day but we knew it was late notice and were expecting to start the following Monday. When I spoke to the office staff, they said they would send out their director right then to assess my father and they could start the care at 6:30p.m.

The nurse arrived at 6:15p.m. and went strait to my father and started holding his hand. He looked so comfortable with her. He couldn't speak but he kept smiling. The nurse stayed with him all night and kept him comfortable. My mom was able to rest.

The next nurse showed up the following morning and was just as pleasant as the first lady. She brushed his hair, shaved him, put lotion on his skin and made him look like a million bucks. A few hours later he went to heaven with a smile on his face.

The quality of the Firstat was superb! They were professional, caring and exactly what we needed in my father's last hours. We would recommend Firstat to anyone! We were beyond pleased!

They were so helpful on the phone! They asked a lot of questions and helped me determine what kind of care my mother needed. Then they took care of all the details and made it so easy for me.
