Don't use Fire and Ice. I've used them 3 times in the past with moderate results. This last time, they diagnosed a problem with my attic fan by tapping on it with a screw driver, said it's now working, and charged me for "fixing the fan." When the next automatic cycle time came, (less than 3 hours from the time the technician left) the alarm sounded, indicating that the fan was not working again. I called them immediately. They told me I would need to replace a part, but refused to credit me for the original charge or even apply it toward the cost of replacing the needed part. I guess they can keep the amount they charged me for "fixing my fan," but will never get my business or referral again. POOR BUSINESS ETHICS. What's the old saying, "penny wise and a pound foolish."
