The salesperson that came to our house was over informative about how great their company was in the window business. After a 30 minute talk, he gave us a quote of 4,400 dollars. When my wife said that was too much, he said he would take away the commission that his usual salesperson would receive. He told us he was taking the place of the usual salesperson. He came down $960. Really, the commission for that order was that much!

During the initial talk he kept telling us how the company gave the highest quality for the lowest price. Am I out of line in thinking that a commission of $960 is too much. Why play games? I had a really bad feeling about the whole thing. We did not go with this company.

In 2007 we purchased 9 windows and a patio door from Sierra Windows. When the sales person came out to give us the quote he was very nice and very polite. We decided to go ahead and purchase the windows from Sierra. Because they were the lowest price and the best quality and plus we were also expecting a $99 dollar rebate per window and the price was going to be allot less than their competitors. Finally after 8 weeks of waiting we had the windows installed I have to tell you they were not the same windows we were shown on the day we meet with the salesperson it was nothing the like the windows that were shown to us. Because this windows were ugly I tell you. When we confronted Sierra Windows about the windows and the rebate they said the price of the windows were included as the advertised special in the LA Times and they said that's what you ordered. That's not the way the salesperson Steven Marshal explained. I called Sierra Windows probably 10 times they keep transferring me in to a voicemail that never get returned. I like to have my $99 per window rebate ASAP and my windows checked by a professional to see if its the same windows ordered.
