Bully's has been a landmark of the greater San Diego area and has proudly represented this great city when it comes to fine dining. I have been a patron for the past 5 years and will always be a patron as long as the doors are open.

We come here for their happy hour specials which are delicious!!! The jumbo shrimp cocktail and fish tacos hit the spot everytime. The portions exceed my expectations and the atmosphere is worth the experience. It's restaurants like Bully's East that make San Diego the classy city that it is.

I have never had anything short of a amazing meal here at Bully's! They are truly a landmark of San Diego and have made several family occasions a dinner blast. Amazing atmosphere, phenomenal cuisine and the staff is great. We usually come here for the big games and payperview fights they usually put on for free. I wish nothing but the best for you guys and your establishment. Cheers!!

I had the Salmon Bistro Salad and it was amazing. I usually order the prime rib and it is always good. Thought I would change it up and I was glad I did. Im looking forward to trying some of the other meals they offer. Great service and friendly people.

Came to bully's for my dad's birthday dinner. I was surprised to see that the menu not only had the prime rib they are famous for, but a wide range of options. Oysters, salmon, tequila shrimp pasta and even a calamari sandwich to name a few! I couldn't pass up the oyster shooters to start off my meal, complete with a shot of pepper vodka on top. The oysters were so fresh and I thought the idea to include it as a cocktail was really interesting.

I had to order the prime rib - I was told by the waitress that it was the best prime rib in San Diego... And can honestly say that it was the best piece of meat I have ever had. I could cut it with my fork and it melted in my mouth. The corn off the cob was delectable and unique. It was tossed with cilantro, red peppers, and white cotija cheese - a different combination than I've had at other places.

The portions were generous and the atmosphere was vintage and fun, very family oriented. I even saw the owner there with his kids enjoying dinner.

Their specialty cocktail for the month was a Pumpkin Pie Martini and it was such a delicious dessert that I couldn't stop at just one! :)

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the meal, and the staff was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know how you could give Bully's anything but 5 stars. I will definitely be back soon to conquer the rest of the menu!!

Came into Bully's a few days ago and was even more impressed then before. Bully's is an old school place and recently went through a remodel. There used to be an enclosed patio but now it's fully closed in and connects to the rest of the restaurant. They have beautiful dark wood brand new tables and really nice flat screen TVs everywhere. When I was handed the menu, I noticed it was updated too. I asked the server if the menu had all been revised and she said it was all the same menu just different format. She then pointed out the wine and cocktail list. Bully's has crafted a brand new cocktail and martini list! I ordered the "Little Pepino" martini which was Hendricks gin, lemon, orange and mint-cucumber jalapeno syrup. Delicious!!! All of their syrups are house made too. My friend got the "Greshum" cocktail and that was really good too. It was vodka, raspberries, lime, simple syrup, balsamic, and topped with ginger beer. Needless to say you have to come in and try these new drinks! And of course the food is always awesome.

I love Tuesdays at Bully's. They have a great drink deal. You buy any cocktail or beer and they give you a chip to be redeemed (any day ) for a well drink or beer!!!

Come in, have a few drinks, drink for free the next time you visit!!! How can you beat that??

For those of you who thought the beer selection was slim, they've added some great drafts. SCULPIN IPA and GOOSE ISLAND are just 2 of the new ones.

Oh yeah, the SHORT RIBS on the special OCTOBERFEST menu are to die for. They are only available til the end of the month!!!

I was super impressed by my last visit to Bully's East. They added some great new draft beers. I was super excited because they had my favorite, Sculpin IPA! They also had some fantastic new craft cocktails on the menu and were really stepping it up at the bar. Their food was amazing as always. Gotta love their happy hour appetizers which are affordable and delicious. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Great experience, I will definitely be back to Bully's.

Bully's East is one of the best restaurants in San Diego. Their food is tasty (especially the ribeye!), and reasonably priced. I had dinner there recently and was seated in the beautifully re-modeled patio area.

Top five reasons why I love Bully's East: 1. The prime rib. It has yet to be beaten in a test of tastes. Not to mention, that it is always perfectly cooked to any temperature I or my co-guests request. Seriously, try it. 2. The variety--I love that I can come here with any kind of diet restricted companion, and their needs are met! Low carb? Easy-get the steak. Vegetarian? Try their salads. So. Yummy. Pescatarian? The option of a locally caught fresh piece of fish is hard to beat!3. The drinks! Every bartender I've witnessed mixing drinks up there are definitely pros. Order a martini and I promise it will be chilled perfectly, not too strong, and will leave you smiling! 4. It's family owned! How can you not love that? From the get go this restaurant leaves you feeling that you'll be taken care of, because that's how the owners would want their family taken care of. Odds are, no matter what time of day you're in there, you can probably find one of the owners and family hanging out and talking to customers. 5. The servers! The waitresses are awesome, always accommodating and eager to see smiles put on their customer's faces.

Recently I had a chance to get back into Bully’s East. The usual aromas of cooking food, and fresh tap beer were in the air. This time there was something different. As you walk in, the smell of fresh wood and lacquer mixed in with the usual aromas. The restaurant had done some remodeling to their patio area and another room for dining. It looks very modern and appealing to sit in. I chose to sit on the patio and enjoy a piece of prime-rib. The new televisions and tables made it nice and cozy to enjoy my meal, a beer, and the Master’s golf tournament. This might be my new place for sports watching! The food is always great and the changes they’ve made really show the pride they have in their food and service. Thanks again Bully’s, I’ll be back!

Last night my husband wanted to go to dinner for his bday so he chose Bullys East. It has been a little while since we've been in. We were shocked with the changes! (in a good way) It seems like the whole front of the restaurant was re-modeled. I love the old-school vibe that Bullys has always had but the new re-model has givin it a new and old-school look. I've always known Bullys to be a dark restaurant but the new front room which they now call the "field" is surrounded with windows! It was such a nice change! Of course the food and service is always amazing... But if you haven't been in a while you have to check out the new Bullys! It's awesome!!!

"The food at Bully's East Restaurant appears simple, but the flavors have remarkable depth. Bully's East Restaurant is known best for its Prime Rib, and the reputation is well deserved. I tried for appetizer the Baked Brie, if you are a cheese lover you got to try it, it melts in your mouth, and the apple gives a nice finish taste to it. The atmosphere is very European with the wood furniture, love all the famous sport pictures on the wall for decoration, and nice to Dine in clean restaurant! Good to see the staff work as a Team, we did not have to wait ever if we want to asked for something from are waitress, we were just asked what we want from another waitress, and got it wright away!

I know I'll certainly be returning soon."

Nothing bad could be said about this place. On a Tuesday night in all my friends came to celebrate my birthday and it was the most fantastic night ever. The bartender was super cool, and took great care of us. Everything we ordered was hearty, yummy! The prime rib was outa this world and makes me salivate just thinking about it! We also had some killer oyster, and the most amazing bacon wrapped shrimp, and then rounded out the night with a great crème brulee. Every was amazing, and it was also really nice that we didn’t get any grief for bringing our own birthday cake. I can’t wait till next year to celebrate my birthday there again!

I simply love this place! It doesn't matter if you just want to have a few drinks or if you want to eat a delicious steak, Bully’s East never does me wrong. The ambiance is unbeatable and the old school feel is charming. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who eats meat or drinks alcohol. We felt very comfortable, you could come dressed down or dressed up, no judgment is being passed here. Everyone from the servers to the bartender was fun and friendly. And the service is great to boot!

I discovered Bully's East for the first time last year, and have been hooked ever since! I love a good prime rib, and Bully's definitely has the best in town. My favorite is the Blackened Prime Rib Bits! So tasty and great for an appetizer or a meal. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, and the newly re-modeled patio is great. Makes for an all around wonderful dining experience! 5 stars for Bully's East!
