We recently purchased a house with Mexican Paver flooring and had heard some stories about how hard these tiles are to maintain. But after Will thoroughly cleaned and sealed the floor the looked and continues to look great. And we look forward to seeing Will in a few years for the maintenance. They did such a good job that we hade them clean and reseal the bathroom shower walls and tile floor.

Thanks Will!

We had Will work on restoring our Mexican Pavers for our patio in San Diego and they did a great job stripping off the old sealer and cleaning and sealing the tiles. They showed up on time, did very detailed work, and had very good suggestions on how to properly maintain the terra cotta tiles in the future. We will have Will come back to do future work for us.

Will and his crew did an amazing job for us back in Oct 2014 for the interior of our house on unique mixed Saltillo tile, which was in desperate need of cleaning. He provided a sample of what the floor stripped, cleaned, and sealed would look like, prepared the quote, laid out the agreement of commitments....all was solidly executed and almost 9 months later the job looks amazing still! we get complements from everyone saying how impressed they are with how it looks. We value Will's years of experience, and expertise, in fact we just had him out to do a whole front patio as well as clean and seal our entire front and back porches! Highly recommend!

Will started our job for an agreed upon fee and got a portion of the money up front. His crew did a few days of work and then he put them on other jobs to get the check from the new job. They came back and sanded half the tiles about a week and a half later and got the halfway check. He never finished. He left the most difficult parts of the tile unsanded and never sealed any of it. We had to hire a new company to finish the whole thing. He is unreliable and unprofessional.

As to the review below. I would just like to say I never worked for the people nor did I sign any contract or take any money from them. They were already having problems with their existing tile contractor and were looking to have someone else finish the tile work. So I went for an estimate and told them a lot of things which their present tile contractor hadn't taken into consideration and gave them a price almost half of the their existing contractor and with a lot of the unforeseen issues addressed by me. They tried to contact me on a Monday and I was literally out of phone service range. If I remember correctly it was in Valley Center for 2 days and we worked late and got home late and was out of contact for a day and a half and they left not the nicest message with a sort of tone to it and I didn't hear back from them. So I was surprised to see the review below.

Will agreed to do our tile project even giving us a projected start date then proceeded to not contact us when he said he would to set up the final arrangements. We attempted to reach him over three days time but he did not even have the decency to return our calls and left us scrambling to find a new tile installer at the last moment further delaying our project. Later, after expressing our disatisfaction in an e-mail, he produced a lame excuse about being busy and not having phone service. Really, who doesn't have phone service? Later we found someone reliable and half his price. If you want someone who behaves professionally with his clients and is reliable, do not go with Arnzen Tile.

Will Arnzen and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job on our flagstone. After years of abuse and zero care by the previous owner, Will and his crew came in and replaced a lot of the decaying stone and cleaned and sealed everything. Will and his crew were on time every day and never left a mess. The stonework now looks like it was installed yesterday.

If you want a professional job go with Arnzen Tile and Stone.

If you are looking for the expert on Saltillo tile installation, look no further than Will Arnzen at Arnzentile.com for your professional tile installation. Regardless of how complicated the job, Will and his team of qualified, courteous craftsmen will surpass your hopes for a beautiful, timely and flawless tile job. Our home had several “tricky” areas (uneven floor surfaces and an old wooden floor area) but Will knew exactly how to treat the areas so that our floor would never crack and would look beautiful for years to come. We received several quotes and Will was the only contractor that noticed the potential problems. We are so grateful that we decided to go with the true experts. Now we have peace of mind and an absolutely gorgeous floor. I have no hesitation as I make this recommendation, Will is the true expert when it comes to tile flooring.

Will did the tile and marble work in our master bathroom remodel and we are thrilled with the result. Will did a superb job showing his craftsmanship, experience and attention to detail. We had a very small shower stall area but Will was thoughtful in his approach and was able to make every single tile match and it looks fantastic. We appreciated his advice on how to lay the marble floor so that the room looks bigger too. It was a nice special touch. And we especially like the way that Will took such pride in his work : no cutting corners. He does it right. He's great.

We used Will to match a new Saltillo tile installation to an existing Saltillo tile install. He suggested that we first Refinish the old tiles to see what the actual color of the grout & tiles were and he did a great job rejuvenating the tiles as well as our whole house. He then did another great job matching the new tiles & grout to the existing tiles. We appreciated Will's attention to detail and being on time and on schedule. We had no problems with Will or his crew and appreciated that they cared just as much about our floors as we did.

Regarding the 2 negative reviews written on 4/14 & 4/17. For the appt. that I missed I apologize but I must have been really busy at the time & just couldn't take on any more work and didn't want to waste your time & patience by trying to be at 2 jobs at once.

And for the review with Spanish patio tiles. He is right about it peeling. But I did end up going back to fix it. The finish photos are above. They wanted a topical glossy sealer for the outside. And it turned out their tiles were concrete tiles which do not absorb the sealer as well as the porous Spanish tiles. So it began to peel. I did go back and did a few test areas using a different process because I wanted to make sure this process worked. So it did take a little more time than the homeowner wanted by the final product turned out really well.

Other than that I am very meticulous about the work that we do. And I do stand by my work and have plenty of references. I just to make sure a few of them get to these review sections.

Thanks, Will Arnzen

Run, don't walk, AWAY from this guy. Will Arnzen is his name. He makes huge promises about the miracles he can perform on your tile floors at $4.50 per square foot! That's per tile, folks! We made an appt with him to come and give us a quote anyway and he no-showed, didn't call, didn't return our calls or emails...just went into the wind. After reading the other post from January about the poor quality and lack of follow up to correct the work, I am sure we have made the right call in NOT using ArzenTile.

We contracted with Will in Jan 2013 to refinish the spanish tile in our outdoor entranceway. The work initially looked good - until it rained! Then the entire finish blistered and peeled. Will figured out that he had missed a step during his initial work and did a test area of another small section of tile, which has since been ok. However, as of April 2013, more than 3 months since initially finishing the job, Will continues to fail to come fix his shoddy work after promising us multiple times over the past few months that he would repair it. Several times he has given us dates that he would come to complete the work, then he would just not show up. Now he avoids our phone calls, and when we get through on an alternate number (which he isn t automatically sending to voicemail), he lies about coming to complete the work and then ignores us.

I have pictures of what he did to our entranceway, which is now completely ruined. Will post them here if I can figure out how. I strongly recommend staying away from Arnzen Tile. Will does not stand behind his work.

Excellent Workmanship/Great Communication

Will has completed 3 separate tile and porcelain jobs for us over the course of the last four years including a complete new bath/shower, 1000 combined feet of flooring, and counter coverings. For each job, Will always provided us with excellent communication offering suggestions and options at appropriate times throughout the job. Will always made sure he had a clear understanding of our installation decisions. He then worked hard to ensure that the installation of the product was correctly done the first time. Will has a good artistic eye for tile installation and was able to adapt to our particular decorating styles. He has also displayed a thorough knowledge of all types of products related to tile and porcelain installation. Finally, we found Will to be very honest, trustworthy, and honorable. He did not "cut corners" during any of our jobs. I strongly recommend that you contact him for a bid on your project.
