"Without Terri's expertise and experience, the sale of our house in California would have had a far different and much less positive outcome. Our home was in the mid to upper price range for our area and unfortunately our move coincided with the beginning of the downward slide of the housing market. Not only did we not want to have to deal with a house on the market when we were several states away, but since we were going into retirement, getting a fair price for our home was also important to us.

Terri worked incredibly hard for us and due to her wealth of experience, insured negotiations went smoothly - something that doesn't always happen when both emotions and money are involved! She handled everything from the listing to the closing with great professionalism and recommended the best people for the few improvements that were needed.

Additionally, she provided excellent feedback after showings and sold our house quicker than the average time on the market for our area. When small issues between us and the buyers arose, she gave us sound practical advice which was much needed and appreciated.

Aside from her professional abilities, what we appreciated most about Terri was her honesty.

We recommended her to several other people who were interested in buying or selling their homes. We would never have done so if it was not so apparent that Terri ALWAYS acted in the best interest of the client, not of her bank account. One of our friends commented that she had steered him away from a more expensive property to one that was less expensive - because she took the time to understand his needs and wants and realized the more expensive home (due to its location) was not something he would have been happy with in the long run. It was no surprise that due to her integrity, Terri was certainly one of the best realtors in our area, and without doubt, the most respected.

I had the pleasure of working with Terri Stevens over the past few months. Purchasing a home can be one of the biggest stressors for any home buyer. My experience with Ms Stevens was exciting, educational, and stress free. She has a flare for the details and definitely knows her business and San Clemente.
