I would like this wonderful city for doing a superb job. However: I have noticed lots and lots of tailgaters on: Barton Rd. Just south of Loma Linda University. Violating : California Vehicle Code: 21703. Note: Its one car for every ten miles. So if I am driving ,60 miles an hour. Then my space cushion should be , 6 imaginary cars from the front of my bumper to the back bumper of the car in front of me. Next: 15 feet behind the car in front of me when stopped. Then more unsafe drivers on: Barton Rd. Making unsafe lane changes. This is a violation of: Calif. Vehicle Code: 21658a. Note: If this very nice city can enforce these two California Vehicle Codes. This means less accidents. Then if the city council, the city mayor and the city police chief can make a new city municipal code to enforce these two California Vehicle Codes. Then let the state get their cut. Then the city can charge: $1,000.00 for the first offense. Then $2,000.00 for the second offense. Barton Rd is a gold mind. Lots of money to be made off of tailgaters. Plus: Unsafe lane changers . The city can give raises to employees. Get extra training for these wonderful police officers . Buy some helicopters. Over head cameras. For ever one block. No reasonable doubt. All on camera. Cameras at every intersection. Charge : $5.00 to use Barton Rd. This is lots and lots of money to be made off of unsafe drivers. Loma Linda can be a role module city . By enforcing no unsafe lane changes. No tailgating allowed in the entire city. Penal Code: 415. Under being loud and boisterous. Plus: Using offensive language. This is disturbing the peace. Let the state get their cut. Then with a enforce new city Municipal Code.
