I wanted a specific helmet with a quick release chin strap. I searched and finally found one with this feature on Chaparral's website (it was in the description and the picture). I ordered it. After a couple days, they called me to make sure it was ok to charge me $30 extra to ship to Hawaii. I was fine with the charge because I had been searching for this helmet. Upon getting the helmet, it did not have the quick release chin strap. I was very angry. I emailed them and they basically said that the description did not say that it had this feature. I sent them the link and a screenshot to the page on their website. They finally admitted that it was wrong on the website and that the picture was from a previous year. They offered me a $30 credit to keep the helmet but after dealing with them, I do not want it anymore. I am returning the helmet and will be out $60 because of shipping both ways. I will never buy from this place again.

After trying to print off a shipping return label from their website, I received an error. I called customer service and the guy was very nice and said that he would refer it to the returns department and that they would email me the shipping label. I got any email saying that they could not do a shipping label because it was from Hawaii and offered to send me some junk quick release strap that looked incredibly uncomfortable. I declined and stated that I wanted to return it. I called customer service again after a couple hours with no response. They said that they would not pay for the shipping because nothing was physically damaged on the helmet. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and am awaiting a result on that. I told them this and they said that I could return the helmet but they would not pay the shipping. I would have been fine with this a week and a half ago before they made me so mad.

Bought some tires here one was defective had no problems exchanging it no hastle lowest prices thanks guys

I drove down to chaparral from Los Angeles during traffic hour. almost 2 hours on the road to get there and got there before they closed.... i had checked online before i left work to make sure i didnt take a drive for nothing. once i get to the tire department. they told me that they could not get me the tires because the warehouse had no lights... WTH??? no flashlights no nothing?? so the dude didnt make me feel like he wanted to make the sale. he probably just wanted to punch out and leave... i used to go out there and buy stuff from them all the time.... not anymore... they lost a $700+ sale just for 2 wheels and tires that evening. and i was planning on going back for the fronts.... no thanks ill take my business somewhere else....

Don't do business with, or waste your money with Chapparel!!! Unless, of course, you want to receive 4 year old tires for your bike while paying for new. Or you enjoy horrible customer service that tells you lies and then calls YOU a liar. I don't even know why they have a customer service department, because they flat out refuse to do anything except say they're sorry you disagree with them (that was Jennifer - the customer service "manager"). In over 30 years of riding I've never gotten a tire that was significantly older than the old worn out one I was replacing. They will rationalize it by saying the manufacturer says a tire has a shelf life of 5 (or 7 depending on who you talk to) years. Would you put a 7 year old tire on your bike? If you care about safety, performance, and tire life get your tires somewhere else! BTW - don't bother looking on their website for reviews, as they will only post 4 star or above.

I have not had a bad experience with these guys what so ever I will continue to shop here good prices and customer service in my opinion but everyone has the right to their own opinion so.....

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered four ATV tires on a Sunday, I called Monday to confirm the order and to see when they were going to ship. I was told they were shipping that day and that I would be getting an email with a tracking number. I never got a tracking number but on Wednesday of that same week I received two of the four tires that I ordered. I called again to see where the other two tires were at, and was told they shipped from two different warehouses and I would be getting them soon. I asked for a tracking number, and they told me they could not provide one, but I would be getting an email that evening with a tracking number.



Thursday comes around, no tires show up, and no tracking number is emailed, but I did receive another email showing the other two tires as a separate and new order. I called again, to see where my tracking number was. I was told by a very rude employee that they didn't get a tracking number because they didn't ship from their California warehouse, and that basically I would get my tires when I get them. I called back to complain about the customer service and was greeted by another very rude employee that basically told me the same thing.



After two rude employees, and no idea when my tires are going to arrive, I decided to send a complaint email about their service. The reply I received made the situation much worse. I was told that "I barely placed the order today, and I didn't receive a tracking number because I gave them a misspelled email address". They blamed me for giving them a bad email address, as the reason for no tracking number, but my conformation email for my order was sent minutes after my order, and I received it with no problem. I also called three times and they refused to give me a tracking number, so blaming me was very poor. They generated a separate order afterwards then said the order was placed that day. Then they gave me a tracking number for the two tires that were already delivered, like that somehow helps.



This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. I wouldn't order from this half assed company again if they were the only ATV parts dealer in the country.

If they wanted to rob me why not just put a gun to my head instead next so I know I'm being robed. Really...10% on 6k not even including the labor being charged.



Be weary of there service dept. and you should know that there estimates are only visual. I picked up my bike exactly how it was dropped off so who knows how much more is left out. The estimate that I paid for out of pocket really is useless now because the shop it's at now will have to write up a new one which I'm sure will include the bent forks that even a novice rider was able to spot.

Big showroom but limited selection, and service department plays games. I called to get a price on putting a new tire on my scooter- $15 plus the $45 for a Pirelli tire and they aren't busy. So I went down there and no, its only $15 if you took the wheel off already, otherwise its $60 for the labor. Do they have any flexibility on the price, since I was given the wrong info by phone? Nope, but we made a mistake, its $80 to put it on. $125 instead of $60.



I went inside to get a visor for my Harley helmet and they had nothing that would fit. At least Amazon covers these exotic brands.

I wouldn't put any stars if I had the option. The below reviews are not from real customers, they are from Chaparral Motorsports staff and friends. I know this because staff members from Chaparral have told me. I only go here if it is absolutely necessary and when I do EVERY TIME there is a problem and the service is terrible. They tell you parts are in when they aren't. They lose shipments or don't ship on time or AT ALL! They charge you wrong amounts. They tell you parts are pulled but when you get there you have to wait for over an hour for them to pull them. I cannot express to you how terrible this place is in all categories. I would definitely NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!

Biggest shop I've seen. But size doesn't account for their wonderful customer service. the people that work at Chaparral are more like my friends than employees. If you want a great deal on tires, parts and even bikes they have it all.

Great place to shop, great prices and pretty good customer service. They have lots of parking and they have just about everything a rider needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is my first time visiting Chaperal. Great selection, lots of parking and it's easy to find. The sales reps knew their stuff. I'll go there again

Chaparral is like the supersto...

Chaparral is like the superstore of motorcycle shops. I've shopped at a few other local places in the IE to only be disapointed by a. not having the right part or b. a sales rep that doesn't know what he's talking about. The last time I went in there I had to return a pair of thor pants I bought for my father in law that didn't fit. They took back the pants no problem and even price matched another pair that I found cheaper online.
