I originally thought that having a male doctor would be extremely awkward and strange, was not sure that I would be comfortable with the idea at all. However, Dr. Feinstein and his staff are above and beyond excellent when it comes to making you feel comfortable. All of the nurses and/or extra staff are very personable and warm, you will know just from one phone call that they care. They also help where they can with prescriptions and information or support. They are also very good with follow up and returning calls. Time is taken to allow for any questions or concerns during your visit or even if it just a call to go over symptoms. I would recommend them to every woman I know, I hope to never have to change doctor's again. They are all very courteous and kind, but also very efficient as there is hardly ever a long wait to be seen, I've been going here for about 3 years now and they've even changed office locations yet it was an extremely smooth transition. Fortunately the move brought them much closer. One of the best things about it is the smaller number of "hands" you are passed through to complete a visit, the same lady that checks you in also checks you out, and you are always greeted when you come in. You also usually have the same nurse, and they actually pay attention and remember you. No matter what you are there for, whether you have insurance or not- you will be treated well, and helped to the best of their abilities.
