They called to tell me they were on the way and waited for me while I was a little late. The carpet came out great, and even dried in the time frame they gave me. I will use them again

Had two carpet techs out to my house the next day after i scheduled appointment. they showed up right on time and wore protective slips on their shoes. Carpet looks good and would recommend them to anyone.

One Sunday morning my husband and I experienced a frightening happening at our home residence that was by all accounts a complete nightmare, an overflowed toilet in our master bathroom. Of course, we were busy eating breakfast and reading the morning news, not knowing that the toilet in our master bath was flooding our home. In walking to our hall bath, I discovered a huge puddle of water on our laminate flooring. At first I thought our dog had had a bad accident but saw that it was also on the carpet in the hall bathroom. I went running into our master bath and discovered the carpet was completely soaked half way into our master bedroom. My husband heard me in somewhat of a panic and came in to investigate. He acknowledged that this was probably his fault because he had used the toilet about 40 minutes prior. Needlesstosay, we went to the toilets and turned off the valves and tried to soak up as much water as we could by emptying the closets of all towels and blankets, especially on the laminate flooring. I ran to the phone book and looked up carpet cleaning and randomly called Steamatic. God must have been looking after us because that was the best call I could have made. The woman on the phone could tell I was a little frantic. She calmly asked about our situation and told me that her crew would be arriving soon. They were experienced at water restoration and arrived in under an hour. They acted quickly to remove all the wet carpeting and padding throughout the house. They removed wet baseboards and drilled holes into our sheet rock to air them out and prevent molding. They were very informative in telling me what they were doing and you could tell they were professionals. Once all the debrie was removed, they set huge fans and dehumidifiers throughout the house to help in the drying process. The next day, the Steamatic contractor arrived at our house an examined what the original crew had performed the previous day and told me that he would be glad to work with me and our insurance adjuster regarding the necessary renovations. He referred me to tile and carpeting businesses he used and I found them to be very reprutable and easy to work with. Today, my home is beautiful and like new and I have Steamatic to thank. I would like to add a small detail to this story. The Steamatic contractor's wife was pregnant and about to deliver any day during this whole renovation, but he never pushed me aside and was always willing to come and do whatever he needed to do to get the job done. That's the kind of business you truly want to work with and I am perfectly willing to refer them to anyone and everyone. Job well done !!!!
