Worth the Trip just for the Bouguereau

Tucked away in an out of the way Gallery is probably one of my favorite paintings....William-Adolphe Bouguereau's

"L'admiration"..... I had to practically hunt it down myself whe the young lady at the information desk didn't have a clue what I was talking about but when I mentioned "Cupid" she smiled and pointed me right to the Gallery where I spent a good hour just enjoying Bouguereau's fine painting. I recently acquired my Fine Arts Degree in Painting after I retired and the young whipper-snappers in classed made fun of me because I love the Romantics and Classical Painting. Their loss I still say, The atmosphere is quiet and conducive to contemplation. The Museum staff are friendly and helpful. Take a few hours during your trip to enjoy one of the finest works of Art outside Paris.
