Roan Forest Elementary School offers a core curriculum in the areas of history, geography, language arts, literature and fine arts. It also offers weekly classes in physical education, music and Spanish. The school s facilities feature computer laboratories and a child-centered science laboratory. Established in 2002, Roan Forest Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is a part of the North East Independent School District and is located in San Antonio. The school offers a range of enrichment classes related to arts and crafts, physical education, study skills and other fun activities. Its student council operates a store that provides erasers, pencils and highlighters. Roan Forest Elementary School is also recognized by the Texas Education Agency.
