The largest independent gun shop in san antonio Homer Nagel began customizing military rifles for hunting and shooting sports in his garage in 1942. With growing demand he and his son Robert H. Nagel established a retail store front and they began selling firearms, accessories and gunsmithing services. With strength, drive, and sacrifice the Nagel family transformed an idea in a garage to one of the largest family owned gun stores in Texas.

I bought a band new gun that I spent a lot of time trying to find locally. They had a few in stock. The box was kind of beat but hey it’s just a box. Once I got the gun home and started messing around with it I noticed a couple scratches and the muzzle attachment was loose and missing paint. Started really looking at everything, the rope snake that comes with it had been used (smelled of oil), the sights have been messed with and the back sight had both hex screws stripped. It is the gun I wanted and the only one in FDE color, it shoots good and I registered it with the manufacturer so it’s never been purchased that I know which makes me think an employee or owner used it for awhile before selling it as new. I will not be back.
