Prior to starting Motion Church, Nolan served as a Student Pastor for 8 years in various churches across the country. He and his wife Abby, a teacher in San Antonio, have been married for almost 10 years. Abby and Nolan have a 3-year-old son named Kingston. They're expecting a baby girl in June 2021.
