The Montessori learning environment is organized around mixed-age groupings that provide rich peer stimulus and continuity in the learning process. Individual differences in learning style and pace are accommodated within the classroom.
One-on-one teaching and group lessons, small and large, are some of the many components of instruction.
The curriculum is organized to move from the simple to the complex. Each lesson is built on the previous one, thus promoting a more comprehensive understanding of ideas, concepts, and values. Though the lessons are given one at a time, each subject area crosses the curriculum, incorporating a variety of skills and academic concepts.

Provided by YP.comIn the past six years, I've seen my two children blossom in their own individual ways at MSSA. By choosing work that is meaningful to them in an environment that encourages respect and independence, my Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary children have developed skills that continually impress us. They are engaged and interested - not just at school, but in life. Their teachers have kept them inspired and challenged. We feel lucky to have found MSSA and although the tuition is a sacrifice for our family, it is worth every penny!
