The IHOP at 11613 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78250 was the worst dining experience to date. If you are going to be open on Christmas Eve and you are the only restaurant beside McDonald's, then staff right. The service was slow, I think the waitress was hiding in the bathroom, the manager incompetent and the Cook needs to be replaced. Now the waitress did apologize throughout the evening to my family and I as well as to other patrons she was servicing. The food was overcooked and cold or incomplete. I would have had a better experience and taste if I had gone to McDonald's. IHOP should have paid me for having to endure this poorly managed evening. Save your money and time and find another place to dine.

Everything there is fine. The service is excellent. Alyssa was my waitress. Not to mention the bussers are very fast!

Last night while I was on break from work, I called ahead and placed an order for two buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips, two pieces of bacon, and a small Pepsi. They said it would be ready in ten minutes. So fifteen minutes later I head over there and tell them I am here to pick up my order. They had no idea what I was talking about. The woman who took my order didn't put it in or whatever so I spent an extra ten minutes waiting for them to get it ready. I left and ate at work. The pancakes looked and tasted old which I don't know why if they had made it when I had first gotten there. The chocolate chips were all on one side of the pancake and the pancakes had three large holes in them. Then I noticed on my receipt that I was charged $10.25. WHAT? Two pancakes, two pieces of bacon, and a small pepsi for $10.25. That is not right. I wish I had payed attention. Never going back, and if I do, it'll be to complain.

Waited 20 mins and never any service to our table. Mention to the manager,who by the way, on the telephone, gives blank stare. Hmmm.... Service sucks!

Been goin to this IHOP for years and the best server is Joeadam..he knows how to keep up with it and always attends to us...never keeping us waiting. thanks Joe good job..because of you we continue to visit at this location..

The entire staff needs improving on customer service. From the friendly greeting to the serving of the food. The restrooms were smelly and nasty. The food was good except for the hashbrowns, it was overcooked (burnt). My overall experience during this visit at IHOP was not a good one and I will not be returning to this location.

There was no wait to be seated, the server was friendly and on top of things, and we saved money at the end because they asked if we had a student or military ID.

Even late night the staff is excellent. Our waitress was very kind even with me and my boyfriend being extremely picky eaters. Everything came out the right way and tasted great. She was patient and nice and the service was fast. Plus they still have a smoking section which is fabulous for us smokers.
