The style relaxed. Quality and variety of food is excellent. Many different choices so no one can possibly be disappointed. This is the best sushi I have eaten on 3 continents.

we had an amazing experience! the food was out of this world and we had a blast sitting at the bar watching the masters work. everyone was very friendly--a great time in all areas. we'll definitely be back.

If you can imagine the best sushi you've ever had in a cowboy(ish) atmosphere then you would be thinking of godai.

This is one of the few Japanese restaurants in San Antonio that is fantastic! There sushi menu is vast and delicious. The dinner's are exquisite. One chef does all the cooking and does a wonderful job. The only problem is that the place is always full to capacity and the wait time, to get in, is long, but well worth it. If you would like to compliment the meal, order some saki to go with it.
