Master artisans is the best way to describe the superior craftsmanship Jim and his team provide to clients like myself. We have been clients for our luxury home for multiple years and would not think about engaging other painters in the area. From outlining the project, to preparing the site to the work itself, it is a flawless process. Jim and team are extremely professional and provide amazing attention to detail. They make great recommendations, listen to our suggestions and are a joy to work with. Gilreath is often called in, as was our case, to redo other people's work. They are courteous and respectful and perform at the highest quality, from detailed multi-layer finishes to refreshing basic walls. This current project was repainting our entire main living area, removing wallpaper in master bath and repainting, but also completed a detailed faux finish in our theater, and highly complicated Venetian plaster treatment in our main hallways and other areas. We have been exceedingly pleased with the outcome each and every time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or bring him to our new home in a different state. When quality matters, these are your go-to artisans!

Jim and Jeff did an outstanding job distressing and staining my kitchen cabinets. It totally transformed my kitchen...at much less cost than the price of new cabinets. I would highly recommend them for any decorative finish project.

My husband and I have never worked with such a professional company as Gilreath Refinishing. The quality of work was that of a true artisan and was amazing to watch. Jim and his workers were always on the job as they had promised, when they promised. They prepaired the working space to limit damage, and cleaned up before leaving for the day. Jim and his workers truly work magic when refinishing any surface. We were extremely pleased with all they did and have been showing the cabinets to everyone. If you want the best, don't buy new cabinets, if at all possible. Have Jim give you a price of what it would cost to refinish. I like my cabinets better than if I had bought brand new. They are beautiful!!

It is an absolute marvel what Giilreath Decorative Finishes can do to a room. Their different types of faux finishes are just beautiful. They put "stucco" on walls in my home that I recently remodeled and it looks beautiful; I get a lot of compliments on it. They make walls looks so amazing. They can do other finishes as well, I'[ve seen some of their work where it looks like bricks on a wall, but it's all paint!!



They are a very professional company, they always protect the area where they are working and the area is always left immaculately clean when they are finished.



I would highly recommend Gilreath Decorative Finishes if you are looking for a beautiful look that will last a lifetime (or until you are ready to change wall colors)!

We love the work that Jim did at our home...I could live in my beautiful purple bathroom! Jim is reliable, comes when he says he will be there and his workmen are respectful of keeping things as " normal" as possible.
