I am really impressed by their effective timing and schedule. When I called them they quickly responded to my requirement. Comfort design team arrived at my place at the same day itself. Before landing to them, I called many reputed HVAC companies for which no one responded even in three working days. Comfort design team is very enthusiastic and energetic, I would sincerely recommend them.

We have been customers of Damiani Comfort Design since early 2011. We had a maintenance contract with another company that was $576 more per year. That company didn't even clean the coils.

We have since replaced one of those units with a Lennox system. It's much quieter, we are more comfortable and our electric bill dropped quite a bit.

The staff is always on time, polite, tidy and knowledgeable. When we need to replace our other unit we are definitely going with them.

This is the best experience I have ever had with ac company! Quickest service, Lee was an expert and solved the problem quickly, the price was excellent! I signed up for service plan with the money the other guys would have charged me!

My heating and A/C system was installed by Comfort by Design; has a 10 year warranty, and is under a service contract for inspections, adjustments, and any needed repairs. The service staff is exceptional. I get a reminder call that it is time for an inspection. Then, they show up within the agreed upon time window. The technicians are professional; they get to work and check and test everything. They take their time and are very, very thorough. They’re careful and neat in what they do. When they are finished, they review with me what they’ve done. I would not hesitate to recommend them

I just had a service call to check out my AC. The technician was very nice and professional. He took the time to explain what was wrong and what he would do to repair my AC. He spoke in terms I could understand and was willing to answer all my questions. I was very impressed. I would recommend Comfort Design to anyone needing service/repairs.

I had my AC unit go out one morning at 8 am and i called Comfort Design and I had a new AC unit installed by 5 pm that afternoon. I called in and received a call back from the owner Tom Damiani, the owner. I was kept up to date throughout the day on the progress and customer service and price was second to none. Since then I have been on their service contract and if I ever have issues they are always quick to respond and ALWAYS on time. I have had many friends and associates have issues with their AC and I recommend Comfort Design everytime. The techs are professional and courteous and they do the job right. Many times, others have used different companies and they never have as good an experience as we always have with Comfort Design. I recommend to anyone who reads this to call Comfort Design, because they will do the best job and they will do it right.

Were NOT timely at all. They came out on a Friday and said they would order the part they needed and it would be in the next day. The next day I was told the part wouldn't be in until Tuesday. When Tuesday finally arrived, they called at 5 p.m. and asked if they could put the part in on Wednesday between 8 and 9 a.m. and I agreed. Finally, they called at 9 a.m. on Wednesday and said the tech was just leaving to pick up the part and would be here as soon as possible. I am not happy. Every minute counts when you don't have A/C in record breaking temps.

Air conditioners are not something most people think too much about....until, they stop working. Then, if you are like me, you might compare and shop and learn more about air conditioners than you ever knew before. Comfort Design is a company that stood out from others. They were quick to fix the immediate problem. Then, they were professional and knowledgeable and mostly very honest and fair. I now have a new AC system and could not praise the company high enough for their attention to detail, fair pricing and respect for the needs of each customer. I was very impressed that they protected my home with carpet covering and cleaned up completely before they were done. They took the time to explain the new thermostat and what I should do to make this AC continue to run efficiently. The patience of each person at this company was evident and comforting. I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Comfort Design to anyone who needs anything from a repair or coolant charge to a whole new system. I am looking forward to peace of mind.....and lower utility bills. :)

Comfort Design recently replaced a complete heating and A/C unit at my house. I am very pleased with the work that was done. I had 3 companies come over and give me estimates. I chose Comfort Design because Darryl Davis was very thorough in explaining exactly what I needed and how it would be done. The Technicians, Andrew and Frank were very professional and couldn't have been nicer. They also explained what they were doing as they worked. I was especially pleased with the cleanup after they finished. I would recommend Comfort Design to anyone needing Air conditioning/heating work.

Comfort Design installed a complete AC and Heating system in my new home. They worked with me to design a high quality system that was within my budget and effectively utilize resources that were already in place. In addition they provided superior customer service in every step of the process from sales to financing. The technicians were very knowledgeable so a high quality installation was completed. Everyone that was involved with my project was courteous and interested in providing customer satisfaction. I will update the review after living with the system over the summer.

Our home is now 10 years old - and our contractor-grade ducting was causing us some issues. We contacted several companies and settled upon Comfort Design. Our Customer Service Rep, Darrell, was fantastic and really was a customer service rep. The team who installed our ducting and HVAC unit were professional, courteous, and always on time. This is a major investment - so you do want it done right the first time and done well. We recommend Comfort Design!

Prior to settling on Comfort Design, I had estimates provided by 3 other HVAC contractors. Part of my decision in choosing CD was because they were registered contractors with both CPS Energy and RESNET and that the technicians are NATE certified. More importantly, in contrast to their competitors, Tom Damiani (owner) and his crew provided thoughtful & honest answers to all of my questions. Prior to being chosen for the job, they spent several hours inspecting the existing sytem and ductwork to ensure that the replacement system would be property sized and that air flow performance could be optimized. It has now been 3 months since my new hvac system has been installed and some of the damaged ductwork replaced. As was promised to me, the new system is more efficient and has improved the air quality and comfort in the home. Now, my energy bills are significantly lower and I received rebates for energy efficiency through CPS Energy (Tom completed all of the applications) and now have enough of a credit that I probably won't need to pay another energy bill for the next 12 months or so. Overall, my experience with Comfort Design could not have been better and needless to say, they come very highly recommended.

Comfort Design is one of the best heating and air companies here in San Antonio, TX. They provide quality service, for a fair price and to top it off, they have a friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend them for any of your heating and air conditioner needs.

I called this morning because AC was not working and by this afternoon I had cool air again! They didn't try to up sell me . Honest folks with fair prices.

Kudos to Comfort Design!! With the extreme temperatures in San Antonio this summer my a/c unit at home finally just gave out. But Comfort Design came to the rescue and put a cool smile back on my face! Big, big thanks to Andrew and Dave who spent two days in the attic making sure the unit fit right and was accessible -- and Eileen and Tom, thanks so much for your perserverance in making sure everything was right and handled in a timely fashion. Life in this record breaking heat is bearable once again and Comfort Design is the reason why. I will recommend them to everyone I know!!! Thanks so much for a great job!!

I woke up this morning and found my A/C was not working. My husband went outside and found that the compressor wasn't moving at all. This was around 6:30am. I knew I was going to have to stay home from work to have someone come service our A/C, so I looked online at the yellow pages website and found Comfort Design. They had some rave reviews and they have been around a long time. So, I called them immediately and an answering service took my information. They said they would call me back at 8am. I waited until 8:10, and then called them. I knew I had to get someone out immediately since it has been in the hundreds outside lately. They told me that it was going to cost $60.00 for them to come diagnose the issue. I scheduled an appointment and the lady said they would be out late morning to fix it. At 9:15, someone called and said they were 20 minutes away from being at my house! When they arrived, I told them the issues I was having of the compressor and the fact that 2 of the rooms didn't seem like they were getting enough air. They went outside to check the unit and said that the switch for the compressor was bad and had to be replaced. They also said that something else had to be replaced (not sure what the thing is called, but it is a small cylinder), but it was only mild issue. They told me that the particular part would be out soon since it has been so hot. I told him I am hoping that it lasts the summer so we can replace it in the fall or winter. I asked them how much it would cost with the diagnostic fee and they told me originally $248.00. To replace the other part would have been about the same amount and I didn't want to spend $500.00 today. Anyway, when I told him that 2 of the rooms were not getting enough air and that I heard a possible animal in the attic about 4 days ago, he got a ladder and went up in my attic. I asked him what it looked like up there since my husband and I have NEVER been up there the whole time we have lived in the house for 3 years. He said that the whole duct area would have to be replaced and gave me a quote of $3300.00 to $3800.00 to replace it all. He also mentioned that whoever converted the garage to our living room didn't put insulation up there and that is why the room is always hotter than it should be. I had a nice conversation with them and they gave me a detailed invoice with all the issues on it. The guy even took pictures on his camera of our attic and he took pictures of the attic with my camera so I can show my husband the bad job the previous owners did. They told me that they had payment plans for that type of work and also that they would come anytime to speak with me and my husband together to get more information on the work that has to now get done. They were out here until 10:45am helping me with my issue. Money well spent in my eyes! They were very friendly, professional and they knew what they were doing. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely use them again!

Comfort Design was truly an answer to prayers. After being "taken" by several a/c companies, they were referred by a friend. I could not have been happier with the service I received. Andrew, a delightful and extemely informative technician arrived at my house about 1 hour after I spoke with the owner, Tom.Tom assured me they would give a fair and honest assessment of the problem. When Andrew arrived he was efficient, honest,and explained things in terms that made sense to a layman such as myself. They were able to work within my budget and were honest in saying what might be secondary problems. Andrew went above and beyond what any technician in the past had done for my older a/c unit and remained ffor a time to assure my a/c cycled several times thoroughly before leaving. I even received a follow-up call later in the evening to make sure all was still running fine. Comfort Design will be the only company I use for future maintenance and repairs on my a/c and heating units. Thank you Andrew and thank you Tom!!! You were seriously an answer to prayers!

Our condenser fan quit working at 8:00 Friday night on 4th of July weekend. I called a couple of places and only got machines. When I called Comfort Design a person answered. After getting some basic information, she connected me to Wesley, one of the technicians, and I explained the problem. He really made me feel like he knew what the problem was so I asked when can you be here. He said 30 minutes! Can you believe it? Friday night! 4th of July weekend! He arrived and checked out the unit. I asked lots of questions and he had excellent answers. He really knew his stuff. Then I asked how much... It was quite reasonable. We really got exceptional service at a great price, just when we needed it. By 9:30, our a/c was working again. Amazing. We're Comfort Design customers for life!

We originally had a larger company come and evaluate our home's air conditioning problem, 2 days after our phone call they arrived and quoted several thousand dollars to fix the problem. In hindsight, we should have called Comfort Design from the very beginning. The team was very courteous on the phone and had a technician out to our home within hours. The technician was very knowledgeable, efficient, and honest and took the time to explain the underlying problem. The problem was fixed within hours and at half the cost quoted to us by the larger company. We will absolutely use Comfort Design for any future problems and would highly recommend them to others faced with a similar problem.
