Where do I begin? Well on May 9, 2016 I decided to take my 2000 Lexus ES to their shop since my second gear took long than normal to shift when the transmission was cold. All other gears 3 gear of the 4 speed transmission were fine. I visit the shop and spoke with a Rudy. I explained after the car warmed up and pass the "C" on the thermostat, the second gear shifted fine. The charge me $ 590 to take out the transmission to see what the issue was. Rudy later told me that the second gear was sticking and the he suggested rebuilt the transmission. I asked why can't they just replace the second gear? Rudy said they can't do that, it needs to be rebuilt. So as transmission specialist I believed them, they gave me a repair estimate around 2k! I've taken the car back twice to them and it still has the same issues as if it was never repaired. I'm working with the BBB to get some of my money back and have it repaired correctly. BEWARE.

BEWARE!! These guys are not trustworthy and they will lie to get you to give your consent to have them dismantle transmission, so they can say you need a new one, put it back together, and charge you $700 for it. They don't speak the language of honesty and certainly don't have integrity. They are not straight shooters. They lie and cheat, and steal people's time and money without even blinking an eye. They will amplify your problems. Take your car and your business elsewhere. You'll be glad you did.

These guys employ a cunning sales tactic that tricks or pressures people into giving their consent to dismantle their transmission for $700, and yet, do not reveal that information initially. Ron Is a fast talking manager who, on the initial consultation, makes assurances, yet goes back on those assurances if you don't give your consent. It's not just a trick, it's a flat out lie, and the owner, Whoever Cox, is the Oz behind the curtain who nods with approval. This is just 1 of myriads of examples why mechanics have such a poor reputation of cheating & taking advantage of vulnerable people. It's because of guys like this who give mechanics a poor name and why people don't trust them. They should be held accountable for their actions.

This place is an absolute rip off. I spent 4 grand on a transmission at Coxco, on year later transmission Is out again. Theses positive reviews are by the staff of Coxco. This place is an absolute nightmare. It starts from the fat, freak in the front office (manager) all the way down to crappy service. Do NOT trust this place!!! 4 grand later, I have a truck that has transmission problems once again. Yeah, "the boys" at Coxco will rip you off. Nice post Coxco..rip offs, shows you will stoop at nothing!

I just had my car returned to me after the boys at Coxco worked on it. My car is in the best condition it has ever been in and it runs as if it is brand new!! I was in and out in only an hours time and back to work before anyone noticed that I was gone. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they helped out so much with the car lingo that I didn't understand. I love that this is a family owned business and you can see all of their smiling faces when you walk in the doors. I recommend everyone who reads this to take their cars to Coxco, we loved it so much!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

I dont ever write these beacuse I alwayes belive people or a ( buisness ) can have its bad days...but this bottom of a so called buisness has lost ever bit of respect I could ever give one. There service on the phone is high school, the first time I called these people they acted like respect or apprication to a customer wasent in there daily routine, im needing a transmission rebuild and I believe they new I was in dier need to get my truck back on the road so there intelligent minds decide to throw a 5000 $ bill my way no problem I take it somwere else hah was I fooled I was told it will be 800 $ to receive my truck back in the same shape I gave it to them I have nuthing to say but wow my hat is off to you for being in buissness still..GET SOME MORALS EVEYTHING COMES BACK TO YOU ONE WAY

THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO A DOG THE OWNER DONNIE IS THE RUDEST BUSINESS OWNER I HAVE ENCOUNTERED THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO CONCERN ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT GETTING THE MONEY TO MAKE IT WORSE I WAS ON A PHONE CALL AND THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD HUNG UP THE PHONE BUT IT WAS STILL CONNECTED AND THEY WERE TALKING BS AND PATRONIZING ME AND LAUGHING AND JOKING AROUND ABOUT MY SITUATION PLEASE TAKE MY WORD AND TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE CUZ YOU ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH AGGREVATION WITH YOUR CAR HAVING PROBLEMS THIS PLACE SUCKS

Technically, I didn't receive any service on the car. I only went in for an overall inspection because I am taking a long trip to Monterrey.

They did a great job with repairing my transmission. Their services came at a great value. I appreciate the hard work that went into the repairs

The guys are Coxco Transmissions are great. I took my Volvo wagon in to get some work done and they did a great job, for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Yes you read that correctly a 5 star review on a Transmission Repair Shop !! Carl is so honest, brought my daughters 2001 Sunfire there after I was told it needed a Transmission R & R and Carl replied , well we will see whats going on inside, and promised to keep me informed. He called the next day and said, you do not need a R & R, just a fluid change & filter he recommended , dropping the pan & replacing the gasket and filter as well b/c many places are offering to "Suck the Fluid" out via the dipstick, which is a 30% effort and does not capture & collect the sediment , metal shavings & excess that can build up on your Transmission Bottom Pan. I was charged under $ 100. Wow!

First off I wanna say here at Coxco they are great and they are so honest I have been to so many other shops and only cus I'm a girl they treat me like I'm stupid but not here at Coxco, here they treat me with respect and don't treat me different just cus I'm a girl. Thank Coxco you guys are great people! and a great buisness.

Good job!! I had my car at another shop, won't say the name but anyhow they told me I needed a transmission when all it was, was the shifter assembly. Thanks Coxco for your honesty and integrity.
