Cheapo signs was recently purchased by one hour signs. I used them right before the new owners took over- and was very happy with my sign which was both very reasonable and competitively priced. I ordered another sign 10' x 5' one week into the new ownership. I sent an email with the sign designed exactly as I wanted it in a word file showing the layout, fonts, and placement of the photos- and two separate jpg. files in case they needed the original as my layout was in a word doc. and many of these graphic sign companies use mac computers. They sent me back a proof, in which I noticed they had added an additional directional arrow and they had changed the colors of my arrow. I only observed the proof on my android phone as I was in a hurry to get the sign up before superbowl. I emailed them back- and told them to leave the arrow the same color as in the layout I sent. I did not notice that they had changed the fonts in my layout to a brush script. Once the sign was installed- I noticed the change driving by as this script is impossible to read on a billboard from the road. So- while I had approved the proof- I never thought that they would take it upon themselves to change the font that I had sent them and didn't catch the change on small phone screen. Also - as a professional sign company- you would think that they would tell a customer- "Hey- you might want to use a different font- that is more visible and brush script is not a good choice for all the text". I called the new owner- and asked what could be done- as the current sign was unacceptable. Since- I should have also noted that they changed my layout- I was not asking for a full refund- but thought that they could at least rework the text on the sign- somehow using my same aluminum- or at least redo the sign for 50%. ( I have spent over 1K with this company in the past month- and have more sign projects in the works) The owner- only told me it was my fault- and sorry I was unhappy, never offering any type of discount- or accepting any responsibility for changing my layout. I think this is really poor customer service- especially since they are the sign professionals and should have known not to use this font. I think the new techs are not really overseeing the design process the way they should and if you choose to use this company I would proof, proof, proof, and reproof- as they make their own changes to your designs- and they are unwilling to assume any responsibility. I won't use this company again due to the customer service and lack of professional responsibility. Any savings realized are lost when you have to pay to have the same sign redone. It ends up costing twice as month for the worst billboard I have seen in print.

I used Cheapo to have some yard signs made. I had prices quoted at several sign shops closer to my business. Cheapo was less expensive by far. I was talking to some other customers in the store while waiting to pick up my order and their experience was the same. I was pleased with the quality of the work as well. I will certainly use them anytime I need signs or banners.
