Founded in 1981, Alamo Caf specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine. The caf offers a range of appetizers, soups, salads, beverages and seafood specialties. Alamo Caf provides a range of banquet and catering services for various events, such as wedding receptions and business and private meetings. It operates a club called Young Defenders Club for children below the age of 12.

This place is incredible. You'll find yourself elbows deep in tortillas and queso and when your food arrives you won't know what to do about cause you'll be stuffed

Margaritas and Torillas

The maragritas are great here and very well prices. The tortillas are also wonderful, I love dipping them in the salsa. I also like the queso and the enchiladas verde.

Great Place!

This is one of our family favorite places!! It has great Tex Mex food, and also some American plates. Our favorite is the Chicken Laredo!! We like to bring our out of town friends here for a good taste of San Antonio. I would recommend Alamo Cafe to all!

Great place for Tex-Mex

One of our favorite restaurants in town - we may eat here a couple of times a month - and always the one we bring the out-of-town guests to. Everything on the menu is good and the service is surprisingly efficient for such a crowded place.
