They will take your order in the evening but in the morning they will not be there, they will not let you know, and you will be late for your flight unless you are lucky and some insomniac Uber driver will happen to be around at 5 am.

I have had some good drivers from Yellow Cab but overall, the drivers have been very poor. Many of them do not know the area and I practically have to tell them turn by turn how to find my place. And I often go to the same place and the good drivers take the shortest route and the poor drivers always take the long way. What they do not understand is that I tip good for the drivers who go the shortest way and I tip very bad for the drivers who go the long way.

Yellow cab is a very poor cab company. Believe me you do not want to use them. They said a cab would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. I called back 45 minutes later because no cab. They said they are trying to find a cab. Yea right. The women really did not care about getting me a cab. She was rude to me on the phone. I was very nice to her and she really had attitude. I eventually had to ask my boss for a ride to my hotel. Don't call yellow. Call the small companies and give them your business. Yellow does not respect any customers.

Wtf!! I called to get information the guy gets mad because my number is blocked! Why do u need to see my number? He start to question who I am and asking me why my number is blocked and wondering if I'm a detective? Wtf! All I wanted was service. I will NEVER call this place again!!

Wow the cite says they have a AAA discount but the lady i just talked to said she has been their for 4 years and they do not!!! So this needs to be fixed. P.s the lady was so RUDE!!!!!!!!

DO NOT EVER RIDE YELLOW CAB IN SALT LAKE CITY. I was picked up by a driver in CAB 39 who asked where I was going. I gave him the directions and he tried to take me a different way. When I asked him not to take me that way he said this is what the GPS said to go. I then told him to take the rout I gave and he unbuckles his seat belt and points his finger in my face. Make a long story short, I practice jujitsu and he after the police was called...he walked away with a dislocated finger and I walked home.THEY ARE DIRTY AND WILL TAKE YOU ON THE SCENIC ROUTE.

Worst Service, we missed our concert. Called only one hour beforehand. Said they would be to our place in downtowm SLC. Three phone calls later, they never showed up and we missed the concert. Minus 5 stars!!!! Not sure why I must select a star. It took three phone calls to determine they were not coming, although when we made the initial call it

Had an 8pm concert at Abravanel Hall and called Yellow Cab at 6:45pm. The said a cab would be there in 15-20 mins. Called them back at 7:30pm and they said they just put the ticket in at 7:20pm and the cab would be there within 15-20 mins. At 8pm, still no cab. Called them again, and just as they answered, the cab showed up and the driver had gone through a drive-through and was eating his meal in the car. I was upset and late to the concert thanks to Yellow Cab having me believe they would pick me up when they said they would. It only gets worse. After the concert at 10:45pm, called Yellow Cab for a pickup at the Plaza Hotel. They said 15-20 mins. Numerous phone calls and dispatch stalling and looking for our initial request and repeating the 15-20 minute routine, a cab finally showed up at 1:45am. Dispatch said they were so busy, well, there were no cars on the downtown streets, and no people. If they can't be honest and tell you they won't make it or haven't put the request in yet, they should say so, instead of stressing us out and lying that the cab will be there when they don't even put in the request. 3 hours waiting for a cab in the middle of the night gives a bad reputation to Salt Lake City. Will NEVER use Yellow Cab again!

If I could, I would give this company NO stars. I can't even count the number of times I have been stranded by this company. I can't see well enough to drive. I have two kids. I have had to use this company to get to Dr.s appointments and different things for my kids. I have also tried to use the company to just take my kids to do something fun. I once was stranded at a KFC with two kids for three hours. They actually never did pick me up, I had to call a friend.



Here's how I have been doing it, just to let you know how irresponsible this company is. I have been calling in advance to set up a pick up time, to make sure the cab can be there with plenty of time to get me where I am going. In fact, I usually build in about fifteen minutes, so they can be late if they can't find my house or something. I usually call AT LEAST five hours in advance to set up the pick up time. Only twice have I ACTUALLY been picked up at the time I requested.



Yesterday, I had to take my boys to the doctor. I was supposed to be there at 2:00. The doctor is about a ten minute drive away. I asked for a cab to pick us up at 1:30. At 1:45, I called to ask when my cab would be coming. This is what I heard. "We're trying to find a cab in that area to come and get you." EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?! I requested this cab FOUR HOURS ago. Shouldn't there BE a cab in my area? Shouldn't there be a cab in my DRIVEWAY!?!?!!? So, i had to cancel BOTH doctors' appointments, one of them got marked as a "no show" which I thankfully wasn't charged for, and had to reschedule, which means I have to wait another TWO AND A HALF WEEKS for my kids to see their doctor.



That is not the first time they have done this to me, but it will be the last. The moral of the story: Use anyone but Yellow cab, unless you don't care if you get stuck at home when you should not be.

I called yellow cab today to get me to work on time and not only did it take them 50 MINUTES to pick me up from trax but they also told me that I was NOT where I said I would be, which I was. I was 45 minutes late to my new job and still not sure what reprecussions will come from that since I am only 3 weeks into this job. They also told me that they called me when they had arrived but I didnt answer their phone call!!! NOW WHY WOULD I DO THAT WHEN I WAS RELYING ON THEM!!?? I WILL NEVER USE THIS CAB COMPANY AGAIN. I WOULD RATHER PAY DOUBLE with city cab than to ever call them again!

I was picked up by Yellow Cab, in uniform, last Monday afternoon, at SLC airport. I was suffering from a kidney stone, and was in extreme pain. (I probably should have taken an Ambulance!) I instructed the driver to "Take me to the nearest hospital with an emergency room!" The driver, taking advantage of my lack of knowledge of the local terrain, took me to U of U hospital, the FURTHEST hospital from the airport. It took over 20 minutes, with me in excruciating pain, near passing out, with the only reason I can see being the driver got an extra 10 bucks or so out of the fare. He had at least two far better and nearer choices available to him. I would never use Yellow Cab in SLC again, and neither will the 3000 other pilots that fly for the company I do.
