Williams Jewelers did an amazing job creating my wedding ring! I explained the desired features of the ring, and they made a masterpiece. I couldn't be happier! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Thank you, William's Jewelers!!

William’s Jewelers provided probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. All I wanted was a link put in a watch, but came out with a damaged watch.

I took a brand new watch to the jeweler to have a link put in my husbands Christmas present so it was ready to be worn. The watch had never been worn, and had been left in the box until I got to the shop, was handed to the shop employee to put the link in, then handed back to me where I placed it back in the box. Prior to giving it to William’s Jewelers I had checked the watch to make sure it was not defective from the manufacturer; it was pristine. Upon inspecting it at my house I realized that the ceramic coating on the face of the watch had been chipped during the process of having the link put in.

I promptly returned to the jeweler with the watch and handed it to the man who had originally handled it in the first place. His very first response to the damaged watch was that I could not prove that they chipped the ceramic. He then tried to tell me that it is only paint and this kind of watch is going to get chipped and damaged when worn anyway, as if that should make me feel better than my husbands Christmas present was now damaged. He continually told me that I was wrong when I explained that it was ceramic coating. I left, very upset at the lack of accountability or willingness to explore a solution on the shops part.

I returned to the store, again, to get a copy of the receipt for the $10 plus tax that I paid for them to add the extra link. At this time the owner came out and asked how he could help me. Again, I explained the situation. The owner was very rude and kept telling me that I could not prove it was them who damaged the watch and that it was enamel paint and not ceramic. His solution was that I go buy nail polish to paint the chip on the watch, as that is what he does with his $6,000 mountain bike. He was completely unsympathetic to the fact that at some point in the transaction his employees damaged my husbands Christmas present, making me unable to give it to him anymore.

Beyond the fact that I was charged $10 to have a link added to my watch (my usual jeweler provides this service for free), and the fact that the brand new watch was damaged in the process of getting the link added, I was treated terribly. Quite frankly, the owner and his employees were being bullies and using their group power to not take responsibility for the damage that happened when the watch was in their store.

So in short, unless you want to run the risk of your property being damaged and the store taking no accountability, while treating you terribly, I would highly suggest going to a different jeweler. I will never return to this store again.

We had a really fun time here. I inherited a few good-sized diamonds and was procrastinating having them set. My wife's birthday was coming and a friend recommended Williams. I had some ideas and Mike and Miguel helped us flesh them out. Miguel actually carved the rings out of wax to make a model, so that we could see our own ideas in 3D. It's kinda neat, actually. Mike kept us apprised of status throughout the process, which was only about 10 days. Faster than we thought. Anyway, the pieces turned out wonderful and my wife is super happy. Really glad I listened to my friend's recommendation.

I got my fiance's engagement ring here and it was a really great experience. Mike Nixon was the man who helped me out and I couldn't have been happier. He guided us on stones and types of gold and let us know quickly that we could make a custom ring. My fiance chose that route with Mike's guidance and was very happy with the result. I had to finance the ring and Mike helped get me through that process quickly. It was a quick process and my fiance is happy... (which means I'm happy) Highly recommended.

I have a 3 carat diamond that I wanted mounted in a new design. They made a custom design for me and they did a fantastic job. They were very easygoing and friendly, not just trying to make a sale, unlike every other jeweler I have been to. I would recommend them to everyone!

I chose William's jewelers based on their reviews for custom work. My Mother recently passed and left a ring containing 2 diamond clusters that she wanted split into 2 rings for my daughters. They surpassed my expectations and created 2 beautiful rings that my girls will cherish forever.

Deciding to purchase from William's Jewelers was a mistake. Not only did the custom-made ring turn out nothing like what was asked for, but they were very rude about correcting their mistake. It's a hard thing to argue when the sketch drawn by the craftsman looked nothing like what I held in my hand. After the second attempt, it still didn't turn out right, but I was soo fed up with working with them I just let it be, a choice I regret every time I look at my ring. That was almost 5 years ago. Last week I went there with a family member who was looking for an anniversary gift. I thought I'd give them a second chance. What a disappointment. I recognized the salesman Mike, the man I had dealt with before. Granted, he was with a customer, but that customer was speaking with the craftsman, not with him. Not once did Mike look up to greet us or say he'd be with us in a moment. I walked around, just to make I wasn't mistaken, but he definitely saw us. It was insulting. If you want to be severely disappointed with the customer service and equally unsatisfied with the product, by all means, do business with William's Jewelers. Nothing like being disrespected and unhappy with your purchase in one simple stop.

After shopping around for a ring to propose to my girlfriend I ultimately decided to have a custom made ring for her. William's Jewelers did a fantastic job working with me and giving me ideas to help with what my soon to be fiance was looking for in her ring. All the staff I worked with, from the manager to the jeweler, were friendly, easy to work with, and most importantly very skilled at their jobs. I strongly rec commend this place for any jewelry needs someone may have.

One of the few "Jewels" in this industry. Pun intended. The staff is very welcoming and trustworthy, in a business where that has become more of a rarity. In addition of giving great service, they also do repairs as well. The repairs and custom modifications have been done beautifully, elegant and very efficient with the top-notch quality that would exceed your expectations. This is a type of business that I will be conducting with them for life. A must recommend with two thumbs up!

Started looking for an engagement ring with my girlfriend and found a couple of designs she really liked. Took the designs around to different jewelers in town and started getting estimates. Met Mike at William's Jewelers and with the pictures of the design my girlfriend wanted he was able to quote me a custom ring that was very well priced compared to the other companies I had quote the ring. After going over the details on the ring with Mike and his jeweler Steve we were set on getting the sample made.A week later they called me with the wax model in hand for me to look at and approve for the final ring. A week after the approval they called me in to look at the final product and I was amazed at how from my picture of 2 different rings they were able mesh the designs together to create the exact design I was looking for! Mike was great to work with and helped school me on diamonds to pick out the perfect stone for the ring. Watching the process to create this special ring has been great and William's Jewelers was awesome to work with.

This is the ultimate "neighborhood" business. I have been going there for 20 years for anything from batteries for our watches, to appraisals, to gold and diamonds! No matter which I am there for they treat me the same way!I can walk in after 9 months and they will greet me with my name! I LOVE THAT!

My fiancé and I went to several jewelry stores around town to find the perfect ring. I wanted something different that you wouldn’t find on every brides finger. I also wanted yellow gold which many jewelry stores don’t carry. As soon as we walked into Williams Jewelry, I knew that this is where I wanted to get my ring. I got a really good vibe from Mike, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I ended up picking a beautiful ring that was displayed in white gold. Mike helped us pick the perfect center diamond for it. My ring was custom made to fit my center diamond, my finger, and in yellow gold. It arrived in 3 weeks and I couldn’t be happier. It is possibly the most beautiful, detailed ring I have ever seen. The craftsmanship is amazing. I get complimented on it constantly. I haven’t seen anyone else wear something similar. I will be going back to Williams for ring cleaning and am looking forward to getting our wedding bands there. Highly recommend.

We wanted a very simple but apparently impossible engagement ring. While shopping around we quickly found out we were going to need a custom ring. Not only was William's Jewelers half the price of any jeweler we spoke with but they were also the only jeweler that listened to what we wanted. Other jewelers tried to take my vision and showed me nothing even close but the custom jeweler at William's Jewers sketched exactly what I was saying. They gave us exactly what we wanted. We shopped everywhere. I dragged my husband-to-be to every jewelery store in Salt Lake, and most of them were pretty good, but I just couldn't find the ring I wanted at a price we could afford. I'm really happy we went to Williams, they had a gazillion beautiful rings and we found the perfect one. Thanks guys!

No pressure and they had a gemologist there who taught me a bunch. I literally e-mailed them a picture of the ring my soon-to-be wife wanted, and they made it for her right in the store. Very talented and highly recommended.

I was surprised that they beat Blue Nile's price, but they did. Plus I got to see the diamond before I paid for it. I felt a lot more comfortable buying my wedding ring face to face than online. Great people, too.

All I can say is Williams is the only jeweler I've found in SLC that I trust to repair or even appraise my jewelry. They always give me the straight scoop, and I always feel comfortable in their store.
