I needed a custom vinyl gate installed in my backyard. They did a great job, and later when it needed repair from a severe windstorm, they fixed it nicely. I recommend Western Fence Co.

We live in American Fork and recently had Western Fence install a tan vinyl fence for us. We had gotten a couple bids and Western was the most competitive, so we went with them.
They came to install the fence when they said they would be here. The product is wonderful and we are very happy with it.
There were a few minor hick-ups, but after we brought it to their attention, they fixed them to our satisfaction. The items that needed to be fixed, those took a while to complete, but they followed through and completed them as they had promised.
We would recommend Western Fence, they have a great product and we love our fence!

My fence looks great! I have had many compliments on it. Max and Kamren did an excellent job in getting my fence to the finished product. The installers Chad and Brad were also great to work with and very professional. I am excited to have it finished.

Our fence was just completed last week. We had some problems with the salesman (no longer employed w/ Western Fence), but the owner made everything right, and we are extremely pleased with the finished product.
When I walked with the salesman, he verbally aknowleged and understood everything I wanted, however ordered almost everything incorrectly. At the expense of the company, no additional cost to us, the entire fence and all gates were replaced. This was not something they were required to do, we could have and probably should have been stuck with what was written in the contract, but Jason's (the owner) concern was making the customer happy :-) I would recommend Western Fence to friends and faimily and will call them again myself if we ever have any more fencing we done.

Overall great experience. They came out quick with a much less expensive bid then the previous company (United Fence TERRIBLE company). Vinyl Fence turned out great, very happy with Western Fence Co. would recommend them!

After working with another fence company, that totally messed up my job, I hired Western Fence Company out of Murray to put up my vinyl fencing and some gates on my property. This was a big job as my lot is over 2 acres. It took Western Fence a while to get started, but once they were on the job, THEY WERE ON THE JOB. My fence is now complete and I can’t believe the final results. The gates are unbelievably sturdy, and the color I chose is gorgeous. Tan with White with a decorative top. Through this process I had concerns pop up from time to time, but Western Fence never hesitated to address my issues. A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER 

We recently worked with Western Fence out of Murray and had a beautiful ornamental fence installed with arched gates and I can’t begin to tell you how beautiful it turned out.
We had one issue about halfway through the project, and the salesman responded promptly to our issues and had everything corrected quickly.
The people at Western Fence were awesome to work with.

Wow, My fence is beautiful. This company was courteous and the best price from all the bids we received. It took a little longer than I was quoted by some other companies, but I figured you always have to wait when you want the best.
When I go to the best restaurant in town, I have to wait.... If I go to the best stylist in town, I have to wait.... It was worth the wait.
Every detail was taken care, and the staff and crew were wonderful to work with.
I highly recommend Western Fence Company for your fencing needs. They are a family run business from Salt Lake and have been for a long time.

Everything went great! Concepsion's crew was great getting the posts in and being really helpful explaining things to me. After the posts had set they came out and placed the rest of the fence. Ed and his guy worked above and beyond getting everything in place for us! Can't say enough good things!

Western Fence Company just finished my fence job and we are ecstatic! The chain fence and gates with privacy slats are beautiful. From our first visit to their office at 6020 300 W, Salt Lake City to the completion of our new fence, our experience has been wonderful.

The ladies in the office are always cheerful and eager to assist; Dustin, the estimator who planned our job for us was helpful, professional, and true to his word. We will never use another fence company. We are sold on Western Fence!

Western Fence Company is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Their customer service is non-existent, they do not communicate with each other or their customers, they are inconsistent with their responses to questions, and will hide behind the contract when issues arise.

If you value your time and money at all, take your business elsewhere because Western Fence will provide abysmal customer service relative to the amount that you're paying them. You're much better off taking your business to someone who truly values their customers.

Western Fence did a great job installing my new wood fence. In my neighborhood, the HOA has fence guidelines which they knew and followed. The fence was a cedar fence with lattice top. Although there was initially some misunderstanding with the salesman, they ended up putting in precisely the fence I wanted. The workmen were actually perfectionists and craftsmen in doing a beautiful job. The gate is typically the weak and troublesome point in any fence but Western Fence puts in a gate with a welded steel frame. I expect it to be standing forever. Thank you! The crew broke multiple sprinkler pipes and cut my sprinkler line that controls the valves. They dodged a bullet because my UTOPIA fiber line was just below the PVC it and my sprinkler saved them from cutting it.



The crew just said they cant fix it. I ran it up to the owner and he was very unhelpful and refused to take responsibility for it. They said they don't offer sprinkler insurance anymore.



I ordered a 5' fence with a 5' gate. They showed up with a 6' fence and said it had to be 6' because the gate they ordered was 6'. I argued but lost. A month later they called and said the gate was in... it was 5' and had to me modified. WHAT?!? They delivered a hacked gate with holes and gaps and tried to get me to accept it.



Piles of dirt in my yard, broken sprinklers and killed my whole sprinkler system, delivered the wrong fence and gate. The whole process took months and was a pretty small fence! Owner took no responsibility and refused to offer a credit.

Western fence has severe customer service issues. If by chance you have any type of problem and let them know you are not going to be satisfied. Western Fence treats their customers in an adversarial manner rather than making an effort to investigate or to understand or solve the problem. The front office and sales person are terrible at their jobs and need some serious customer service training. If you choose to take the chance and do business with Western Fence please do not be shocked if you too have a horrible experience. Western Fence is a terrible company because they lack professionalism and are clueless regarding customer service. Do yourself a favor and don't risk doing business with them.

Before you use this company, please read the Reviews and pay particular attention to the 1-star reviews - I can attest that every one of them are true and exactly what I have experienced. This company is unprofessional, rude on the phone, inconsiderate, wishy-washy and never show up, even with appointments. I accepted a bid to move one gate and build another on May 28th. So far they have set 3 out of 4 posts, dug up my sprinkler system, complained about the placement of the gates and said they would be back several times. Still no gates and one of them was already mine - just needed to be moved. You have been warned - don't use them.

We had a gate built across our driveway and it is lovely. The best part was dealing with the people. Everything from the bid, the phone calls and the final installation was great. There was no mess. If we decide to install more fencing we will definitely use them again. Abbey H, Salt Lake

I loved these guys ! They were fast and friendly and I would recommend these guys ! Dustin, Ed and Shaun were so nice !

Overall good experience. They put in a chain link fence for us. They submitted the lowest priced bid and seemed thorough during the estimation and final design phases. We experienced some frustration when the crews were about a week delayed in starting the project. In addition, the crews didn't have all the details of the project written on their plans/documentation, so we had to try and explain those things while they were onsite. We also had to go back to the estimator to clear up some last issues and get the crews the information they needed to finish the job. The end product looks nice and we are pleased with it. We'd recommend Western, with the caveat that the project may take longer to complete than you are initially told.

NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES!!!! Was extremely disappointed with the services provided. In the end, the fence was raised off the ground anywhere from 4 to 8 inches form the grass after they had 'finished'. We called and scheduled their team to come back and fix the problem. They put an additional panel on two sections between posts to make those two sections look better. However the entire south side is still about 4 -5 inches off the ground. As well as a portion of our west side. Our neighbors put their fence in themselves on the north & east side of our home, and it looks far better than what we paid western fence to do. Would not recommend these services as their crew was not customer oriented. The reason I pay someone else to put the fence in, is because I don't have enough time and the expertise to do so with working full time. I feel I could have done a better job. This is the first review of any service I've ever written, and normally I don't. But was very disappointed. If you read the other reviews, you'll know they do very poor work!!!



AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY, I REALIZED I MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT READING THEM BEFORE HAND! MY FAULT. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.
