Jason Tucker, J.D., MBA, graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania with a Bachelors degree in 2005, an honor roll student and AP scholar. He then attended Vermont Law School where he earned a Juris Doctor degree and a Masters in Policy, graduating in 2009. During Law school Jason focused on all aspects of representing private businesses, and completed multiple internships related to real estate and tax law. To further his expertise in business law, Jason entered into a M.B.A. program at Robert H. Smith Business School at the University of Maryland. There he was elected as his class representative, focused his coursework on finance and small business, and graduated in 2012 with honors. In his professional career, in addition to practicing law, Jason has been a real estate investor, writer for the American Bar Association, financial analyst, and he currently is a managing partner for a mergers and acquisitions company specializing in small and medium sized business sales. There he works with business owners seeking ownership transitions, readying their financial statements, negotiating with counterparties, and closing transactions in the $1,000,000-$10,000,000 range. These experiences have made him an excellent negotiator, able to serve the client's needs with respect to non-legal issues, and a willing collaborator with the client's other advisers. Jason became a member of the Maryland Bar in 2009 and the Utah Bar in 2015.
